What I Liked - Place is clean, staff is pleasant. Dislike - tomatoes were not fresh (cut the day before, and refrigerated) tomatoes were mush. No news paper or Wi Fi. Three visit to this location and only had fresh tomatoes once. Disappointed ! Fourth visit questionable ?????

Thank you for your reply. I enjoyed the egg omelet and opted out of the potatoes and substitute with tomatoes.(healthier choice) So I wasn't about to complain about the tomatoes and seem nit picking, it wasn't worth the hassle, and by no means was a looking for another meal or a free meal. Your best critic is plates that you take off the table, what wasn't eaten, why wasn't it eaten. Friday's at my work are very busy and long , so I came in to start the day off right, relax after a commute , sit peaceful have a nice breakfast, catch up on the news, and then head off to work in a nice relax state of mind. Complaining would have change the whole state of relax. All I was trying to say is take pride in what you are sending out to floor, and don't ruin the nice cooked meal by adding day old tomatoes, or burnt toast. My other point was news paper or WiFi, that you failed to address. It only costs a couple of dollars a day to make a visit that much more enjoyable for everyone. New people will walk in every day, getting them to come back again and again is what it is all about. As long as the doors keep opening and tables are full there are no worries, it is when the doors stop opening! Thanks for listening, I will stop in again in a month or so, see if my ranting made a difference or...

I love our breakfast outings. Have been to many different places in GTA and small towns. We just moved to the area of Mavis & 401 and I choose this place because it was close by.....the traffic of Heartland area is brutal. My husband always enjoy his 3 eggs, bacon, home fries and rye bread with coffee for breakfast. I on the other hand love trying pancake at different restaurants to see if I would want to come back or see the place as a one timer. We waited 5 min for a table which was not bad for 9am. Our waitress was very friendly, she has a beautiful smile. My husband ordered his usual breakfast and I ordered blueberry pancakes and of course coffee for our breakfast.

Our foods came quick and that was a surprise. What a disappointment, my husband said his over easy eggs were over cooked, 5 bacon was not done properly, the only thing he liked was the home fries. My blueberry pancakes were pasty, too yucky to chomp ot down. I had 5 bites out of the 3 pancakes and didn't want to be sick all day long. We waited and waited for over 20 minutes for refill of our coffee. Had to waived a waitress down and she said someone will come with coffee. I had to be straightforward with her and said that was 15min ago. Our waitress didn't check on us at all. I know the restaurant was busy but still appreciate my business to bring me back.

I still tipped my waitress $6 for a $26 breakfast.

I will never come back to...

I had breakfast at this location on Sunday, May 8/16 (Mothers Day).

Pros: It is a new restaurant (location) so it is clean and modern. Our breakfast arrived at our table shortly after ordering. Generally the prices were in line with the portion sizes and restaurant décor.

Cons: The size of the coffee cup and the amount of coffee in the cup were, by far, the smallest that I have ever seen and not worth the price. No one came to our table to ask me if I wanted my coffee refilled and therefore I did not get any coffee refill and had to make do with the tiny amount that came initially. The amount of coffee in the cup was not enough to have with my breakfast (I finished the coffee long before I finished my breakfast even though our food arrived quickly and I was taking small sips of the coffee). They did not give me a copy of the bill when paying for the meal at the front cash counter. Every business is supposed to give you a copy of the bill so you have a record of what you ordered, what the prices were and what date you attended. Of the hundreds of businesses I have been to (restaurant and other industries) this is only the second or third time I have not been...

Went there for mother's day breakfast. Service was good but was disappointed with the cheesecake french toast. Neither it tasted french toast, nor was there any creme cheese flavors. All my friends had recommended this dish but surely this one that i had was very poorly made. Maybe because of the rush or just made poorly! And i cant believe I paid 16 or 17$ plus tips for this one. I even tried to lookup the pictures for this dish online but those ones look very different to what i was served. Anyways....just venting out. Additionally, my table was suddenly all cleant up while I escorted my toddler to washroom. the guy was not even sorry or apologized for the mistake. Later the server helped fix and get us our food reserved again.

I order here so often and honestly this is my favourite breakfast place ever. I use to go to one in Oshawa with my grandma every Sunday before she passed away and this one is the only one that makes the food taste the same. I’ve been inside once and everyone was so nice and again the food was amazing! The person I brought was from America so it was their first time having a Canadian breakfast and they loved it! Highly recommend. They always make my wrap into a sandwich without a problem!

Called ahead to make sure there was room for us for 11am on a Sat. The place was friendly for the family and it had the hustle and bustle of a diner experience. We ordered french toast and eggs Benedict. Plenty of food for the price and bottomless coffee. It was fine service, I'd prefer if they came around to collect the dishes and I'd rather pay at the table instead of the cramped entrance where they ask what table number you were. I'd eat here again.
