Sanjay, the manager. I have had customer service experiences of all kinds: Good, bad and ugly. But this guy makes ugly look desirable with his get-under-your-skin attitude.
Note: I have years of managerial customer service experience, so I am the last person to want to be a difficult customer.
Situation: I took my family including my baby neice to dine in, 2 hours before closing. On placing order, we were not told that lobby was closed to dine-in. There was a sticker of lobby closed towards the left section but the right was open and hence we sat. We almost started having our meal - then the staff Navpreet came in and abruptly asked us to vacate the table. Why? Because she don't want to clean the table after us. We politely asked her "Can we just finish in 10 minutes and leave it clean?" She said NO and defiantly gave her name to complain.
We thought of informing the manager before leaving. He made the already bad experience the absolutely worst! He thought he was some Hollywood hero defending the demeaning attitude of his staff against innocent customers who just wanted to decently dine-in. On top of all this, he agitated us to a point where we were about to lose it, offending the very last grain of our self-respect. Blaming, gaslighting, condescending us publicly (I'm the kind to let things go, but I could not get past this attitude).
THIS IS NOT HOW YOU TREAT ANYBODY. There are similar reviews even 9 months back. Shame on you Popeyes! This guy too defiantly asked us to take things to HQ with a smurk that displayed confidence he would not be penalized for whatever he did.
I'm trying my best to keep a decent picture in this review. Please I urge readers, drive an extra mile or two, find a better place. The women I spoke with couldn't even get an order right( 2 combos) i spent 10 mins to place an order which she confirmed that saying it will be 30 mins delivered. One hour later I get a phone call from the driver, telling me the food is on its way and he's leaving the store now. To which will add another 20 mins minimum for him to deliver. I've never in my whole dam life had delivery go past an an hour. I spoke with the manager (sania) to explain my frustration and I've never spoke with such a dull, low life person before. She gave no f* about the situation and had a simple answer of "sorry" this is worst customer service ever! I'm not an individual that rants on service as I'm very easy going. But this POS store with the staff that probbly hate their jobs ruined my experince with popeyes as a franchise. Not to mention my co worker who also had to wait. When I spoke to the manager for info to file a complaint about the service, she didn't even know her store # or anything. If that's the kind of leadership popeyes has I can defiantly say that service reflects it. Manager- Sanjay | Staff Navpreet was the one who asked us to leave! These arrogant people need to be taught basic discipline and customer-service on how to talk to customers. All the said staff had a visibly defiant attitude and confidently asked us to escalate their names as if they were sure that they would not be corrected (maybe that is the privilege the management gives in treating their customers this way)!!
