Update 2021 May
Food is still good, no complaints regarding that. However, the Girl at front counter screwed up my order, and now I've driven 2 hours out of the city and just realized... I ordered a spicey briyanni and I got a mild one with no flavor... I had the bryanni 1 week ago it was 10 out of 10.... today it is like 6/10. She's been steadily screwing up orders and not caring about her job and paying more attention to her cell phone since the 1st time i noticed in October 2020. I think this is a different girl from the last one in October 2020. Downgrading my review from 4 stars to 3 stars now because the food is still very good from this restaurant, otherwise 0/5 for customer service and getting orders incorrect. She also lied to my wife about putting cutlery in the bag... Get off your phone.
I agree, the chick at the front desk is bad for business. The food is good though and the price is great. At least my 3rd time visiting here... I wonder if the owner is reading the reviews, I noticed a lot of others complaining about the same issue: Customer Service... You will benefit from much happier customers, far more referrals and 5 star reviews if you at the very least; train this girl.... And enforce the rule: No Cell Phones while Customers Are In The Store. They are very distracting like that annoying white flashing light across the street next to the...
Read moreI stopped by here for Chai. The guys were nice here and service was quick. The chai was hot and fresh. As if they had just made it. Which was awesome.
The kashmiri chai was also nice.
It's best to tell them NOT to put sugar in tea - because that way you can put in as much as you like according to your taste.
We also purchased mangos from here. 4 mangos for approx $12 bucks! Quite expensive and only 3 of my mangos turned out to be sweet. So it's kinda like a risk if you buy them. Yeah they are from Pakistan - so most likely they'll be sweet. But still.
The Falooda was tasty. Comes with a thick straw. But ask for a spoon too so you can eat the noodles at the end - because most times they don't get sucked through the straw.
Staff = kind and quick.
Location = Very small. Probably no more then 25 people can sit here and that too cramped.
For this reason, I ordered my chai's to go because no way my family and I could have sat here to enjoy our chai.
Classy place? Not at all!!!
Would I go here again? Yes. But hoping there's more space so we can...
Read moreI recently visited Tazah Taste in Mississauga for a late lunch, and despite its small, no-frills setup, the food completely stole the show. We were starving, so we ended up ordering quite a bit—and I must say, they did not disappoint!
We tried Nihari, Haleem, Aloo Stuffed Tandoori, and Kulfi, and every single dish was bursting with authentic flavors. The Nihari had the perfect balance of richness and spice, the Haleem was beautifully textured and flavorful, and the Aloo Stuffed Tandoori added a unique twist with its crispy yet soft filling. To top it all off, the Kulfi was the perfect creamy and refreshing end to our meal.
While the restaurant itself is more of a small, highway-style eatery, the taste of the food was so incredible that the ambiance didn’t even matter. It actually added to the charm! Plus, the service was excellent—friendly, quick, and efficient.
If you’re looking for authentic desi flavors in Mississauga, this place is absolutely...
