WHAT TO TRY?!

If you haven't tried already, when you go to a Thai restaurant, try their Thai iced tea! It's on the sweeter side though so ask them to go easy on the sweet milk! It's definitely very delicious though.

I liked this restaurant because of the unique curry they had. Duck curry - not really found in many Thai restaurants so if you make the trek out here to try this restaurant, you definitely want to try it. The only shortcoming was the curry was not that flavourful though. When it came to the table, the curry was also somewhat cold so I had to ask them to heat it up.

I also tried the chicken satay skewers. The peanut sauce was nicely done however I thought the skewers were okay and a bit on the dry side. Perhaps it's the section of the chicken or quality of the chicken they used, I thought it was on the drier side. If a thigh meat or the drumstick side of the meat was used on the skewer, the taste might have been even juicier.

I also tried their pad Thai. I liked the pad Thai because I like my pad Thai with more sauce in it and they definitely perfected that. Each bite was full of a right mix of noodle and sauce.

Service is generally very slow here though. I'm not sure about the kitchen but there were about two servers running the whole floor of guests. Sometimes a request would take them awhile before they can get to it. ( ex. Asking for take out containers to fill the leftover food).

LAST TIP!?

Check in at this restaurant when you come to unlock the free Thai iced tea..with the purchase of an appetizer and a main though! But the Thai iced tea is def worth...

Located in a strip mall with ample parking, Thai Signature is a great place to meet friends for lunch. The restaurant is spacious with a relaxing atmosphere, it isn't too busy and their lunch menu has good value. The lunch set comes with your choice from 3 soups or mango salad, a main and a spring roll of your choice. I was happy with my Tofu Pad See Ew for $12. The portion size was perfect and the dish was satisfying, although not spectacular. I really liked the mango salad, it was fresh and crunchy. The veggie spring roll I had wasn't great because it was mostly fried wrapper. I probably would skip it next time. I’m not sure if their regular menu is available during the lunch service, but it was not offered to us.

I lunched with a couple of friends, one of which had celiac disease and cannot have any ingredient that touches gluten. The staff was accommodating and understood the serious nature of cleaning the pan before making her gluten-free pad thai to avoid contamination with soy sauce. They also put her spring roll on a separate plate so she could share it. Their menu is well labelled for what has wheat, is vegetarian etc. I think it was a relief for my friend to have the staff actually understand her dietary needs and I would highly recommend Thai Signature for those with dietary concerns.

The staff didn’t push us to leave when we become engrossed in conversation after our meal. The staff kept filling our water glasses and made us...

Beware when ordering take out!!!

If they do not give you your complete order there is zero customer service after the fact. They missed a part of my order and after an hour of tying to get through to them I finally did once we were done eating and explained the issue. They said they could call me back tomorrow at their convince to issue a refund. This is unacceptable as it is something I had already paid for and their admitted mistake. I then went on to talk to a manager who told me the same thing and had no interest in providing decent customer service and instead just said that is all he could do and hung up. Again after calling again I spoke to another man - the owner who was little help and only offered to deliver the missing dish 2 hours after the fact.

If you are planning a nice meal with your family and would like to have all your dishes at once than this is not the restaurant for you. If I spend $100 dollars on takeout I expect my order to be correct and if there is a mistake which I understand can happen the restaurant should go above and beyond to make it right and offer your money back right away instead of passing you from person to person and having them hang up on you. Extremely disappointing experience from a restaurant I...

We got soooo much food from this place. The service was pretty fast. I ordered for takeout and had the food at home (to take precautions due to COVID). When I picked up the food, the restaurant looked very clean, not many customers sitting down. The decor was very cozy and cultural. The food was absolutely delicious. If you order over $90 you get a free pad thai. We only ordered for 4 ppl and now we have enough for a couple days worth. The portions are huge so mind that factor when ordering. The only con I can think of is that it was a bit sweet flavored, but that’s just my taste buds and me nit picking. Overall, I highly highly recommend trying out this place if you’re interested in Thai food!

Pretty sure I got food from here before and it was good. Today we ordered takeout...pad thai with tofu is normal, and pineapple fried rice with chicken its a bit soggy. There are not enough pineapples in it and wish there was less curry flavor to it. The wings was good and the sauce is delicious, but $13 for 7 wings, I would probably go some where else next time for bigger and more wings for the same price. The mango sticky rice was good, for sure will order that again. Hopefully, get to dine in again after this pandemic because it can be a bit unfair to judge since we have a 15mins drive home, maybe it taste better dine in.
