I’ve been consistently pleased at this location on certain shifts, but lately the afternoon shift here has been consistently disappointing me with regard to food preparation and idleness. I often walk in and find myself standing in a fairly large line, watching as one or two diligent servers attend to their work while frustratingly-large numbers of others - presumably deciding that many-staff breaks at once isn’t anyone’s waste of time or money - make themselves visible to me and everyone as they microwave food and chat and use their phones in that crowded space where I’m expecting efficient service.
Today, if I hadn’t spent so much time watching this gentleman neglect my sandwich’s preparation to talk excitedly into his gesturing hands with a coworker (gloved hands, of course), as to notice how long I’ve seen the man fail to change his gloves, then I’d still be sure to realize how seldom he does it on account of AGAIN (as always, in the afternoons), receiving my food in a carefully-greased paper bag. At least today the uncleaned cutting-board on which the man prepared my food was maybe only 30% as debris-strewn as the worst case I saw. I mean guys, fix up- it’s food-service. The woman who actually took my order and prepared my coffee was...
Read moreAs I entered this Tim’s location, I almost made a U-turn because of its atmosphere. The surrounding area was dirty, an empty bottle was lying on the floor and there were spills that dried off, also a house fly was hovering. There’s a section where it was full of rowdy young people, and in another area, there were seniors who had loud conversations…some were seated on wheelchairs. The main door opened and closed…and a lot more elderly people coming in with their wheelchairs and walkers. Some of them looked fragile as they’re unassisted. Later, someone was going around trying to ask for change. I placed my order with the cashier and she was on training. The one who was training her was giving instructions while the trainee looked anxious and stressed, as she completed the transaction. I walked away with my order, and I overheard her team asking the cashier if she speaks and understood English very well,...
Read moreAn honest first hand experience review from being a frequent customer for the last 5 years or so:
Friendly staff with quick response time, as a regular it’s always nice to be greeted by my name, William, shows the time and dedication the staff take to learn their customers.
The food is great, especially happy the blueberry fritters returned in stock. If there happens to be a mistake the staff are quick to fix it and help out. Their sandwich selection is also great, I’d recommend the BLT’s or Chicken Cravables.
Typically its quick to receive the order, only exception might be during rush hour where a lot of high school kids show up, having been that way too few years back its not the biggest deal and understandable though things may get tad bit delayed.
Overall great location, and staff, as well as the food...
