I’m writing this review with deep disappointment and frustration about an extremely disrespectful experience my fiance and I had at this Tim Hortons location in Canada.
At around 12:25 AM on May 13, 2025, I suggested to m fiance that we go to Tim Hortons, as I believed it was open 24 hours for dine-in. When we arrived, we were surprised to find that only the drive-thru was available. My partner, who was recovering from a serious accident and walks with crutches, said he would try ordering from the window, as he couldn’t stand for long and only wanted to order a simple drink.
When he politely approached the window, the female staff member responded rudely and told him it was only for cars. He accepted that and came back to me, but he was clearly upset, especially since his physical condition made it difficult to walk or stand for long periods.
As we waited for an Uber to take us elsewhere, we saw two young men approach the same window on foot — and she accepted their order without hesitation. That moment was incredibly hurtful for my partner. He felt humiliated and disrespected. He asked me, “Why would she reject me but serve them? Is it because I’m disabled?” His mood changed entirely, and I could see the emotional pain he was in.
Wanting to understand what happened, he went back to speak to her. The moment she saw him, she walked away. He even tried calling the store, but she hung up on us.
When another car came to order, she was forced to come out again. I approached her and asked why she treated him that way while accepting others on foot. She had no explanation and looked visibly nervous. I told her honestly that this felt like discrimination.
She eventually asked what we wanted to order, but after what happened, there was no way we would give our business to someone who treated a person so poorly and unfairly. I reminded her that her job is to treat all people with respect and dignity. If someone is being rude, she has every right to stand up for herself — but in this case, my fiance was completely respectful, and she responded with rudeness and zero empathy.
This experience affected him deeply, and I truly hope the manager or corporate team takes this seriously. If this employee is the face of your store, reviews will continue to go downhill because of her attitude.
Please ensure that your staff understands how to treat customers — especially those with physical challenges — with kindness and basic human decency. This incident was not only unprofessional, but emotionally damaging.

Read moreWorst Tim Hortons location for me right now would be this place... used to be an alright good place but mygosh you've hired people who do not like service. I always go to Esso (Hurontario) location and they're way friendlier so if anyone is looking for a better place best go to this place - unfortunately there are limited menu because it's smaller.
Anyway, about this Central Parkway Location (earlier around 3pm of Aug 17) the person taking order in the drive thru has zero communication skills ("medium double double WHAT?!"). Why shout? Mind you that we asked with a friendly tone. When we were about to pay, the person who was at the recieving area mentioned the total. However, my husband always checks the payment terminal and when we did actually do that, she proceeded to shout the total. Of course we're going to check the total in the system so I dont know if she thought my husband didnt hear or something. But my main question is WHY DO PEOPLE SHOUT IN YOUR LOCATION? SERIOUSLY!
Then the person (who I think was in the intercom) gave the order just handed it to us without speaking. I SWEAR THEY EITHER SHOUT OR SAY NOTHING AT ALL!
No thanks, no hello here's your order, no anything! Hand out the order and just looked at us. Jeez louise so freaking weird.
Long gone are the Canadian culture of politeness and respect. Hell no to this place so proceed at your own risk. If you want your blood to boil, please go ahead and have fun in this location.
Note: coffee tasted like it was...
