Chatime Moncton — Restaurant in Moncton

Usually, Chatime Moncton always meets or surpasses my expectations in terms of quality, speed and service. However, today at Chatime, these expectations were completely and utterly thrown out of the window. Most of the time, even with the store being packed at full capacity, it usually takes around 15 to 20 minutes at most to order and receive your drinks. This time, we waited a cumulative 1 whole hour, waiting around 20 minutes to order and 40 minutes for our drinks. Although the store was completely full, this wait is inexcusable, especially when considering that one of our drinks sat on the counter for 20 minutes, and the other one for 10. On top of this, just as a cherry on top, they gave us the wrong order. These new employees lack experience and basic work environment knowledge, and completely disappointed me and other customers. I genuinely hope the store is able to rectify this, since it only happened once. If they do not, however, I'm afraid they will lose me and other...

We were looking for a boba place in Moncton and so we found it! Great choice, cool that you can choose the amount of ice and sugar you want in your boba. Chatime is not very kids friendly. It was not very clean in this location overall. Also the setup is such that you can't move the chair closer to the table (you know when a table has two benches attached to it). So my daughter was sitting on the bench reaching for our two cups of boba tea and dropped one of it on the floor. It broke. So the whole full large sized cup was gone. I understand that it was my 2 year old kid's fault that she dropped the whole cup after a minute since she got it, but would be great to have it for free made for us again. Or to have a high chair for a kid. Anyway we paid again to have the same thing and walked home with it. Overvise it is nice cafe for young people...

Usually I really like this place, but after the last time I went I have been turned off from going again.

They ran out of pearls which was fine but the cashier recommended the crystal pearls instead. I asked if they were the same thing and she said yes - They really were not. She used the last bit of the pearls in my drink - including the goopy broken up pearl sludge that was left at the bottom of the tapioca pearls pot, and put some of the crystal pearls in. It was gross.

Adding on that, my drink also had clumps of the drink powder in it.
