The tidal bore is really cool because it's the opposite flow of the way the water is supposed to flow and shows the changing tides. I've always loved it even as a kid and remember in recent years when they had some people come out to surf the bore. That was pretty awesome to see! The picture I'm including with my review is of a particularly beautiful day on the Riverview Waterfront where I had the pleasure of both making art and selling art at Art in Your Face 2018, and the picture shows the tidal bore in the background that I just had to capture because it was such a serene moment for me. For people into mindfulness.. this is the place to be and to experience.

Great place in the city to watch the “rapids” with great foot path all along the trail. We went at high tide and the waters were quite high and so were the winds. We didn’t get to see the rapids where you could actually surf on but the currents were strong. Definitely not a place to fall in during high tides. Nature really is magical.

Tidal Bore Impossible to describe but awesome to see and appreciate. Can't really be described or even photographed, though of course I tried!! There was a fella there from a local museum describing the phenomenon, and also local history. MUST DO if you are in Funday area!!!

The tidal bore in Moncton only happens twice a day, one in the morning and one at night. We watched the morning one at 10:57 am for June 18, 2023. It came 10 min early. The information centre said that the tidal bore can come 20 min early or later. The times for when the tidal bore changes daily, so be sure to check when it's going to happen online or ask at the information centre.

The park sits beside the river where the tidal bore happens at. We saw a guy surf the tidal bore.

It was interesting to see a wave of water push back at the direction of the water and changing it to go the other way.

Didn't get any pictures of the tidal bore. I got a video of the tidal...

The young man that was giving the description of what was going to happen with the Bohr needed to be equipped with a microphone large group of people were disrespecting him and made it difficult for others to hear. After he finished speaking that group of people dominated this time because they weren't listening.

It was very informative and a great viewing.
