First time stopping in and eating inside this restaurant. Top marks for cleanliness. Sad the way the world is that they need to lock the washroom doors due to an inconsiderate few. Both my lovely wife Pat and I needed to use the washroom. After ordering and asking to use the washroom, the friendly attendant buzzed, from her side, the button to remotely unlock the washroom doors. I was delighted that it was a full size washroom and extremely clean. Once I was out, I looked around as I awaited our meals. Once Pat came out of the woman's washroom I walked around their eating area to get a better look. This place was so very clean the day we dined (late Sept. 2025). There were a few others enjoying their meals. Three people in line before us. All was good. Pat and I both enjoyed our identical meals. Only 2 down points and they are extremely slight. Both Pat and I always feel we get too many fries in our meals (Happy kids meal - cheeseburger). Would be nice if there's another option rather than fries. We like to share and it'd be nice to split one fries and something else between us. Pat always takes my pickle off the cheeseburger (not a fan). Pat has a gulp or 2 of the chocolate milk and I drink the remaining. Pat eats the yogurts, normally. Both children's toy figurines were identical. Would be nice if they were each different. Pat and I always give the children's toys (or books) to our lovely neighbour's children. I'm sure, if one thinks about it, it'd be nice to have 2 different toys to give a person. Read moreThe lady at the first window at the drive-thru needs to fix her attitude. She was rude from the beginning. I went there in the morning today to grab my coffee. I had 2000 points which had a free coffee that I was redeeming and she said the code was not valid. I had my phone app opened and it did show my order at the drive-thru screen as well. I was a bit confused and I tried again and I got the same code. This lady kept saying no you have to pay for it. I was again confused and was looking through my phone when she sighed and just screamed loudly before walking away saying, “Ah! I am done with this!!!” Like seriously? Why are you at this job if you're so frustrated? I work in customer service myself and I would never ever talk to a customer like that or show my frustration in front of them. I understand sometimes customers can get on your nerves but I did nothing for her to sigh and walk out like that. That was completely rude, mannerless and uncalled for. Fix up your awful attitude, miss! And mind you, I am redeeming the points which I earned by spending money at McDonalds. She made it look like I was free-loading and didn't want to pay money. Read moreModern, renovated mcdonalds in a sketchyish part of town. There appears to constantly be people living rough around the building, with personal effects scattered all over the premises.
While this may be bothersome to me, I've visited this location at various times of day and night and never had any issues. People can be seen loitering by the front door but typically don't bother people.
While that's an issue on its own, my issue with this place is the lack of food quality and food consistency. Every time I've ordered a food item here, there was something wrong or inaccurate that required correction from the staff. Examples; cold fries, missing bacon, missing items all together, or ice coffee tasting diluted/flavorless.
Because of this, the only thing I will order here is a black coffee.
Staff are usually always friendly, and the store is relatively clean depending on the time of the day you visit. Like most mcdonalds locations, they have done away with multiple cashes and have started using the self ordering stations.
There is one singular cash if you wish to place your order manually or pay in cash.
