Pita Pit — Restaurant in Moncton

Terrible customer service received there today from the employee who identified herself as Assistant District Manager.. She refused to give me half and half cheese on my small grilled chicken today. Her explanation was that it was customer policy not to do so as there was no way to portion. I told her I would be satisfied with an under portion of each. She still refused. I explained my friend who was ahead of me received both cheeses but she still refused and continued to argue with me. I then requested that my chicken be re-cooked as I felt it was overcooked (which it was). She offered a refund but said she would have to ask me to leave. Terrible service. Terrible overcooked pita. Food is good, but it's the most inefficiently-run place ever. When customers arrive, the employees just...disappear. Cashier often goes to start assembling other food while there are still customers in line. Half the staff don't seem to know how do use the cash register and have to get three people to help, which takes forever. That also put on gloves, but then handle everything in the store before touching your food and never change them. Lots of cross contamination of one kind of chopped vegetables dropping into the other bins, so you get onions mixed with the tomatoes, cucumber pieces in the green...

There were at least 3, if not 4 employees working yet noone acknowledged me for nearly 5 minutes. I was happy with my pita until I got to the last bite when I found a hair hanging out of it. The girl who prepared it had hairs on the front of her shirt. I don't think any of them had hair nets on. Only because I asked did she change her gloves. There were four customers ahead of me and none of them changed their gloves or washed their hands between customers despite touching several surfaces and different types of food. More training needed re: food safe...
