I have never been made to feel so uncomfortable at a cafe. I arrived here just around 11.30 a.m., after checking out from my AirBnB, and had planned to have a coffee here and work till 1.30pm. The server/owner seemed to be downright annoyed at me because I only ordered a coffee and dared to stay there for 2 hours. This is a cafe and not a restaurant, and on top of that, it was NOT busy to the point where there were no tables for other guests, like they claimed was the case. They post their WiFi password openly, I am assuming that with the expectation, people can come sit there and work? The only explanation for their baffling rudeness at this point is that they are racist. Please don't go here if you are a person of color. Use your money to support business that treat you with respect.
This part of the review is in response to the owner's response below: I just had a box of strawberries that I was munching on and I was the one sitting in the cafe, Mr. Ahad had dropped me off and then was picking me up. If there was an issue with me eating strawberries, you could have asked me to stop, and I would have, if it is such a health code violation as you say it is. I think the real issue you had with me has nothing to do with the box of strawberries, but nice attempt...
Read moreMy first thought, a 5.0? Not something I think I’ve seen in a long time... we have to visit. Stopped by for a late lunch and it was fantastic! Turkey sandwich with minestrone soup. The sandwich had bocconcini, which I’m not a fan of because in my experience it’s tasteless and rubbery, BUT it really worked on this sandwich! Treat after was a soft white chocolate chip macadamia nut cookie. Mouthwatering! We went back today for one more visit before heading home. Flat White (best I’ve had since a visit to Scotland in 2016), Americano (hubby had, and said best in a long time) plus a fresh out of the oven, melt in your mouth cinnamon roll. Super friendly people, who seemed happy to be there, happy to help customers. I wish we had visited at the beginning of our time at Tremblant because this location also has frozen, fresh made Italian foods which I’m sure, based on the rest of our experience, would rival my Italian brother-in-law’s families food. There are also Italian sauces, pastas, oils and more. We will be back again, and Cucinotto will be one of our main stops. Grazie per il...
Read moreMy husband and I have been going to cucinotto as many Saturdays as we can for the past two years ( since they have been open). We have a cottage in the old village and consider Maria and Marcio friends at this point.
We love our Saturday morning Flat Whites with one ( or two ) treats each as we chat and enjoy the little village atmosphere. The cafe is beautiful, the owners Marie and Marcio and all their staff are lovely, friendly and have always welcome us as friends.
We typically take some of the take out food too - it’s amazing!
We feel Cucinotto is a must visit in Tremblant and we love the feeling of having this cafe in the neighbourhood - they are diamond of the village and we hope they keep celebrating anniversary’s here in...
