The best thing was the live music (which was amazing). They also had great beer - as you’d expect from a brewery.

I would however avoid the cauliflower tacos, there was barely any cauliflower in them and was basically that with a few pickled onions on top. They were quite bland and dry and expensive for what it was. Easily the worst tacos I’ve ever had. That’s fine, chalked it up to being a touristy spot.

The worst part though, is when you pay. Make sure to pay attention because the options screen to tip has the numbers displayed there (as you’d normally see on most machines) in increments similar to the usual percentages (I.e. 15, 17…). The problem is that these were actually dollar amounts but the dollar signs weren’t displayed in front of these figures. So when I tipped, I thought I was tipping in percentage not dollars. Tipping $15 is kinda crazy for a bill that should have been $25 (1 order of tacos, and 1 beer) and that was their lowest tipping option. It’s on me for not having paid close attention while paying, but it is a bit of a deceptive practice. I’m sure I’m not the only person that has been caught by this. Ended up paying $40 for my tacos and a beer and noticed after paying. In addition to that, the service was extremely slow (and I’m a super patient person). Everyone had already ate by the time I received my food. My only comfort here was that I probably made the...

Was excited to get to the copper bottom for the first time and the experience started off pretty rocky. Lineup was pretty long (good thing to be busy) and we had pre picked out food and bevies based on the menu. The flatbreads were 2/3 out of stock as well as another pot pie. And two drinks also listed were not there. After a quick five minute wait we were delivered our meat pot pie and veggie pot pie. However we discovered they were both meat. So we re-ordered the veggie pie again (to which I heard the server repeat the order to the kitchen). Another five minutes later the pie arrived and it was meat! So my veggie wife was not very pleased but good thing she checked. Third attempt worked and the pies were all around delicious (only ordered because flatbreads were sold out). Somebody else came and apologized and they comp’Ed the extra pies. Drinks were great, food was great and we had a nice view partially overlooking the river. Three stars but wait staff tried so hard to make it better I had to go with 4 stars.

I would recommend it still because my trip was an atypical one. But do remember to check your food before taking a bite (especially if you’re a vegan or...

We had a reservation for lunch yesterday (Mother's Day) for over a week, excited to celebrate with my family, including our 2 children. Upon arriving, we were told by a server that children under 19 were not allowed today because they had a ticketed event happening. This was the first we heard of this event going on, despite making a reservation well in advance. When I mentioned we had a reservation, she brought someone else over to me, who explained they did have a table they could put us at, but its in the back and we would still be distracted by this event. While I appreciate them trying to accommodate us, it left me wondering - why were they taking general reservations for Mother's Day without informing us of this event going on? If it was going to impact the dining experience, that should have been made clear when booking. We ultimately chose to take our business elsewhere, struggling now to find a place on Mother's Day without a reservation. I defiantly felt very disappointed and frustrated, on top of that we drove from Charlottetown specifically for...

Great beers and a really nice place. Located across from the local museum, I'm guessing it is a heritage building that's been renovated. Spacious indoor seating with wifi, games and colouring books, as well as a nice outdoor patio under a big tree. Staff were really friendly and it looks like they run great events in the evenings. We were too early for the live music the day we stopped in. The craft brews were all really tasty ... we got a package of chips and ordered a flight so we got to taste them all! It was a toss up between the blonde ale and the red ale for my favourite. The IPA was just hoppy enough. There are growlers and cans to take away and the prices are a little more reasonable than some other craft brewers on the Island. Can't wait to visit again.

Being a big craft beer fan, had to pop into the one closest to our vacation cottage... Beautiful building and layout to the place , though first-timers might be taken aback by the entry into the parking lot. The inside is a clean and simple layout, which is echoed on the patio. They offer a range of board games to play while enjoying a drink, and even a bag-toss game outside. The beers are good and flavourful, though tend a bit more to the conventional end of the spectrum. Their Broadside was my favourite, though the seasonal Blueberry Sour was good too. Would happily return here!
