I recently had the opportunity to visit Antep Kebab, where I ordered a chicken sandwich. My experience was a mixed bag of delightful food but frustrating service.

Upon entering, I noticed two people at the cash register. One of them was proficient in both French and English, which made communication straightforward. I placed my order, and they wrote it down on a plain piece of paper, ensuring my name was noted. After taking my order, I was asked to wait. Unfortunately, this is where my experience began to falter.

I ended up waiting for over an hour for my sandwich. During that time, several people who arrived after me were served, which was quite disheartening. After what felt like an eternity, I stood up to inquire about my order. To my surprise, they quickly made my sandwich right then and there, which was a relief.

Now, onto the food—once I finally got my chicken sandwich, it was absolutely delicious! The chicken was fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned, making it clear that the kitchen takes pride in the quality of their food.

However, the service leaves much to be desired. The cash register only accepts cash, which is quite outdated in today's dining environment. Additionally, the fact that they still use plain paper for writing down orders raises concerns about efficiency and professionalism. It would be beneficial for them to implement a proper billing system that could streamline the ordering process.

Another point of concern was hygiene. I observed that only one staff member was wearing a hairnet, while several others were not wearing hair or beard nets. This lack of attention to food safety standards is troubling, especially in a food establishment.

In summary, while the chicken sandwich from Antep Kebab was fantastic and fresh, the service and hygiene practices need significant improvement. My hope in leaving this comment is to encourage the management to enhance their customer service and maintain high standards of cleanliness for the benefit of...

Nestled in the heart of the city, Antep Kebab is a true gem for lovers of Turkish cuisine. From the moment you step through the door, you're greeted with warm hospitality and the enticing aromas of perfectly seasoned meats grilling on open flames. However, what sets Antep Kebab apart from other Turkish restaurants is its exceptional homemade bread and mouthwatering dressings that elevate the dining experience to new heights.

The star of the show at Antep Kebab is undoubtedly their freshly baked bread. With each bite, you can taste the care and craftsmanship that goes into its preparation. The bread is soft, yet slightly crispy on the outside, creating the perfect vessel for savoring the tantalizing flavors of their kebabs. The bread is served warm, allowing it to melt in your mouth and complement the grilled meats impeccably. It's evident that Antep Kebab takes great pride in their bread-making tradition, and it shines through in every delightful bite.

The assortment of dressings at Antep Kebab is a true delight for the taste buds. Each dressing is thoughtfully crafted and perfectly balanced, enhancing the flavors of the kebabs without overpowering them. Whether you prefer the tanginess of the yogurt-based tzatziki or the rich smokiness of the roasted red pepper sauce, there is a dressing to suit every palate. The attention to detail and quality of the dressings truly add depth and complexity to the entire dining experience.

Beyond the bread and dressings, Antep Kebab offers a wide selection of kebabs, each prepared with the utmost care and using authentic Turkish spices. The meats are tender and succulent, showcasing the expertise of the chefs and their commitment to serving top-quality dishes. The menu also includes an array of vegetarian options, ensuring that everyone can find something to...

Tucked away in a quiet corner, this little Turkish eatery is a true hidden gem. My husband and I stumbled upon it by chance since all the Korean restaurants we wanted to try tonight were either closed or super packed. We were immediately drawn in by the smell of freshly grilled kebabs and the lively buzz from a packed dining area. Despite its modest appearance, this place serves up some of the most flavorful and hearty Turkish dishes I've ever had!

Their kebab sandwich was simply exceptional—juicy, well-seasoned, and perfectly cooked with a delightful char! Ugh! So gooooddd!!! Each bite is loaded with flavor, and the portions are generous, giving you real value for the price. I guess it's a bonus too that their breads are made in-house! The plate combos are also incredibly satisfying, with tender filet mignon meat - nothing crazy about its seasoning though, the bulgur and vibrant salads that are as tasty as they are filling, still hit the jackpot for us!

The prices are surprisingly affordable for such high-quality food making it easy to understand why this spot is always bustling with locals and those lucky enough to discover it! If you’re looking for an authentic, no-fuss Turkish dining experience that won’t break the bank, this is the place to go. Just be prepared to wait a little, as it’s no secret among the locals!

PS: They accept CASH ONLY (there's an ATM inside though). Still not a deal-breaker for us. Everyone's friendly here. Made us feel like we are in a Turkish friend's home! 👍💕🌟 We would definitely be back (even if we are coming from the West Island of Mtl) if we need some Turkish comfort food fix! 100/100 Highly...

💰Update 💵🏧💳 : The restaurent renovated recently, and they accept payments by debit card (POS) as well as cash. They have an ATM inside the resto where you cash money with a 1$ fee. No credit card accepted though! —————- 🥯 : Very delicious meat(kebab) and chicken sandwiches. They make the bread themselves. 🥙 : You can take a sandwich (Antep: ground beef kebab, chicken, fillet mignon, or lamb), which has the homemade bread, a spicy sauce to your favorite (they ask if you want spicy or not, or even extra spicy), lettuce, and cucumber . Sandwiches are very tasty and juicy. I usually order by calling, and it’s ready for take out in 20-25 minutes. 🍽️ : The Restaurant has the capacity of 30-40 people max, and usually is crowded because of the high demand. So I prefer the takeout. But you can order dishes and eat there as well (or sandwiches). The dish comes with half of the homemade bread, bulgur (like rice, but different), salad and the meat. 🥤: Drinks: they don’t have alcoholic beverages. But they have juice, water, soda, and yogurt drink. 🅿️ : there is a street parking which is very limited. So it’s usually the best that one person stays in the car, and the other goes on,and takes their order. If not, you can go around the bloc and find a parking.
