If I could rate this restaurant in the negatives, I would. I’ll be filing a report against them with the Better Business Bureau but also want to relay my experience dining here. To start, I’ve been at this restaurant 3 times over the course of 4 days, so I have formed a pretty good impression of them by now. The service is terrible, echoing others, you have to be incredibly patient and resilient in order to dine here. To give you some insight, we waited 20 minutes for water and were given menus covered in salsa and had to wait 10 more minutes to receive new ones. This was pretty consistent across the 3 times we went there, but because it was a convenient place to dine late, we chose to deal with it. Today, all limits were crossed. Excluding the horrendous wait time (10+ minutes of waiting for a table after being told that it would take 5 minutes, watching other parties get prioritized over us, and waiting 15 more minutes for our order to be taken), our server was beyond rude. He falsely added a tip for himself to our total bill, which we chose to ignore, however, his machine ended up resetting and we had to call him over. Then, he started yelling at us about how we never tip (even though we did the first few times). He then proceeded to state how all the other waiters didn’t want to take our table as we didn’t tip, to which our response was, noting how the service was terrible and at times, unhygienic. His response was doubting how we experienced terrible service and instead dismissed us by saying that “they were busy”. If this wasn’t enough, he told us how he made $10/hr and the tips were to pay the chefs. While I can empathize with this, the aggressive manner in which he approached us, coupled with the dishonesty is completely insulting and borderline illegal. To other diners, please check your bill as having your waiter sneak in tips is against the law. He concluded the conversation by threatening us and saying how he would start including a tip if we ever dine there again. As mentioned, I’ll be reporting them through the BBB, horrible experience aside, $10/hr is below minimum wage and there should be a formal investigation launched for this...

While walking along Saint-Catherine Street, our curiosity was piqued by 3 Amigos, a restaurant known for its lively ambiance and a menu that promised culinary diversity. The establishment is designed with an expansive layout, effectively orchestrated by an amiable team of professionals who adeptly navigate the bustling environment. Luck was on our side as we were promptly seated at a coveted window table, though we couldn't help but notice the looming wait times that could deter diners during the restaurant's busier moments. This observation underscores the importance of carefully timing your visit to avoid potential delays.

The menu is thoughtfully curated to accommodate a broad spectrum of dietary preferences, featuring several vegetarian selections, which underscores the restaurant's commitment to inclusivity. Despite the staff's earnest efforts and congenial approach, we experienced a minor delay in service, an oversight we were inclined to overlook given the restaurant's packed setting. However, our anticipation waned when the dishes arrived only to be notably lukewarm, a factor that significantly detracted from the dishes' otherwise appealing taste profiles. This aspect of our dining experience, coupled with the restaurant's vibrant atmosphere and the staff's diligent service, led to mixed feelings about the establishment. The lukewarm temperature of our meals overshadowed the positive elements, influencing my decision to reconsider future visits...

On the evening of May 15th, our family of six embarked on a culinary escapade to 3 Amigos Montreal, and what transpired was nothing short of a delightfully memorable experience, seasoned with laughter, charm, and a generous sprinkle of guacamole.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by a host who can only be described as the embodiment of charisma—an older gentleman with a twinkle in his eye, a sharp wit in his back pocket, and the welcoming warmth of an old friend. His impeccable hospitality set the tone for the evening, transforming our dinner into a lively and laughter-filled gathering.

The food? Sublime. Each dish arrived bursting with vibrant flavors, artfully plated and generously portioned. From sizzling fajitas to perfectly spiced enchiladas, every bite felt like a love letter to Mexican cuisine. The children found joy in the colorful presentations, while the adults savored the depth of the seasonings and the evident care behind each dish.

The atmosphere buzzed with the kind of festive energy that makes time slip by unnoticed, yet each moment was savored. It was more than a meal—it was a joyful celebration of togetherness, wrapped in tortillas and dipped in salsa.

In a city brimming with culinary choices, 3 Amigos stands out not merely for its food, but for its heart. We left with full bellies, light spirits, and a unanimous...

One of the best value for money places hands down! They always make their food right here, and the prices are still very interesting. Compliments to the chef(s) and cook(s), and to the non-greedy management. Service is good, not spectacular but okay. There must be around ten birthday parties daily here on holidays, and you can clearly hear waiters singing unenthusiasticly for yet another guest. They aren't to blame. Tres Amigos is a popular birthday spot because it's so mucho bueno. Their margaritas are pretty good, although occasionally rather watery. The few downsides are that the tables are sometimes too close to one another, they never give you enough salsa with your free nachos appetizer, and that it can get noisy sometimes. All this to say that the Tres Amigos is a very delicious, popular, and successful place. The pros far outweigh the cons. If you want to eat good Mexican food, you can't go wrong with it. There may be a wait, especially around supper time on weekends. Those who say this restaurant is bad are spoiled brats. For the money you are paying, you are getting good value. I do recommend this place to anyone.

3 Amigos is a fantastic spot for anyone craving delicious Mexican food! From the moment we walked in, the lively and colorful ambiance set the perfect mood for an enjoyable meal. The decor captures the vibrant spirit of Mexico, making it a great place to relax and have a good time. The food was amazing, with each dish bursting with authentic flavors. We tried a variety of options, and everything was cooked to perfection, from the tacos to the enchiladas. The portions were generous, and the presentation was spot on. The highlight, however, was definitely the cocktails—they were some of the best we’ve had! Each one was expertly mixed and packed a punch, making it hard to pick a favorite. Whether you're a fan of margaritas or looking to try something new, you won't be disappointed. Service was friendly, although it got a bit slow during peak hours, which is the only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5. Despite that, 3 Amigos offers an excellent dining experience that’s hard to beat. We left happy and satisfied, and we’ll definitely be back for more of their incredible Mexican fare and drinks!
