One of the best value for money places hands down! They always make their food right here, and the prices are still very interesting. Compliments to the chef(s) and cook(s), and to the non-greedy management. Service is good, not spectacular but okay. There must be around ten birthday parties daily here on holidays, and you can clearly hear waiters singing unenthusiasticly for yet another guest. They aren't to blame. Tres Amigos is a popular birthday spot because it's so mucho bueno. Their margaritas are pretty good, although occasionally rather watery. The few downsides are that the tables are sometimes too close to one another, they never give you enough salsa with your free nachos appetizer, and that it can get noisy sometimes. All this to say that the Tres Amigos is a very delicious, popular, and successful place. The pros far outweigh the cons. If you want to eat good Mexican food, you can't go wrong with it. There may be a wait, especially around supper time on weekends. Those who say this restaurant is bad are spoiled brats. For the money you are paying, you are getting good value. I do recommend this place to anyone.

3 Amigos is a fantastic spot for anyone craving delicious Mexican food! From the moment we walked in, the lively and colorful ambiance set the perfect mood for an enjoyable meal. The decor captures the vibrant spirit of Mexico, making it a great place to relax and have a good time. The food was amazing, with each dish bursting with authentic flavors. We tried a variety of options, and everything was cooked to perfection, from the tacos to the enchiladas. The portions were generous, and the presentation was spot on. The highlight, however, was definitely the cocktails—they were some of the best we’ve had! Each one was expertly mixed and packed a punch, making it hard to pick a favorite. Whether you're a fan of margaritas or looking to try something new, you won't be disappointed. Service was friendly, although it got a bit slow during peak hours, which is the only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5. Despite that, 3 Amigos offers an excellent dining experience that’s hard to beat. We left happy and satisfied, and we’ll definitely be back for more of their incredible Mexican fare and drinks!

While walking along Saint-Catherine Street, our curiosity was piqued by 3 Amigos, a restaurant known for its lively ambiance and a menu that promised culinary diversity. The establishment is designed with an expansive layout, effectively orchestrated by an amiable team of professionals who adeptly navigate the bustling environment. Luck was on our side as we were promptly seated at a coveted window table, though we couldn't help but notice the looming wait times that could deter diners during the restaurant's busier moments. This observation underscores the importance of carefully timing your visit to avoid potential delays. The menu is thoughtfully curated to accommodate a broad spectrum of dietary preferences, featuring several vegetarian selections, which underscores the restaurant's commitment to inclusivity. Despite the staff's earnest efforts and congenial approach, we experienced a minor delay in service, an oversight we were inclined to overlook given the restaurant's packed setting. However, our anticipation waned when the dishes arrived only to be notably lukewarm, a factor that significantly detracted from the dishes' otherwise appealing taste profiles. This aspect of our dining experience, coupled with the restaurant's vibrant atmosphere and the staff's diligent service, led to mixed feelings about the establishment. The lukewarm temperature of our meals overshadowed the positive elements, influencing my decision to reconsider future visits to 3 Amigos.

I had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful establishment in downtown Montreal, and it instantly became one of my top recommendations for authentic Mexican cuisine. Located in the heart of Saint Catherine Street, right next to Concordia University, it offers a vibrant and inviting atmosphere. For me, the standout dish was the Burritos, bursting with delicious flavors that transported me to Mexico. Paired with a perfectly crafted Margarita, it was an absolute delight. In addition to that, we also indulged in enchiladas, cheese quesadillas, and veggie Tacos, all of which were equally satisfying. The menu offers ample options for both non-vegetarian dishes and an impressive selection of cocktails. One thing that impressed me was the complimentary bowl of nachos and salsa sauce they served while we waited for our mouthwatering Mexican feast. The wait time for a table was reasonable, considering the bustling nature of the restaurant, especially with its inviting patio. The overall experience was fantastic. Recommended!!!

Went for a late dinner - about 8:30pm. The restaurant was still busy but there was room to be seated. Starters was a small serving of chips and salsa. The salsa was really tasty. And not too many chips to spoil the meal. Had beef enchiladas. They were a healthy portion, flavorful and filling. A small side salad was a good way to get something fresh. Enjoyed the two taco dinner with ground beef. The beef was well seasoned. There was a small salad, Spanish rice and a small portion of beans. We both enjoyed piña coladas. The mango was the best ever!! The classic one didn’t have the best flavor but not horrible. Our server, Koralee, was excellent. She was very attentive and helpful. And kept busy with the other tables but tended well to our needs as well. Dessert was an order of churros. They were good but too well done. We didn’t complain but have had better. It’s a trendy atmosphere with live music right outside the door. Options of lots of seating including outside.

I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised how much 3 Amigos has improved over the past few years. The last time I had been here was about 4 years ago, and it was an absolute mess. The food was mediocre, the bathroom was flooding and filthy, it never made me want to return. This week, we decided to go there for fajita wednesdays, and I was surprised to see how much better the food has gotten! Wow! The chicken was grilled beautifully, there were no fats or veins or anything (unlike the past), and it was all actually quite good. Although, it is worthy of noting that mu portion of chicken was significantly less than the amount in my boyfriend's plate - as evident in the two pictures I have attached. Nevertheless, it was good enough that I will be coming back for more fajita wednesdays. Also, they have done some remodeling and the interior looks quite nice.
