Beautifull decor and nice terrace But Tastless food And The bread they bring to the table was charged to my bill 1.25$ We were a party of 4 ppl and they put a charge of 1.25$ On my bill only It’s not about the amount It’s about dishonest practise A) we weren’t told that the basket of bread would be charged (I have never been charged for bread in any restaurant btw) B) they just charged it on my bill C) waitress didn’t even apologize she went in the back took it off my bill but not happily so and no aplogiy nothing
I paid left a tip and will never go back no matter how nice their decor is Go to marathon ppl they been around 20+ year the food is great and eh the breadbasket before you get your meal is not charged as matter of fact Many a times I went w friends they give you as much bread you want no charge! Not to mention it’s a delicious garlic bread at marathon
the pita bread at arahova tasted like greasy chips you can even see oil ring in basket
Never going back Sourpuss wsitresss who never even came to our table ask if we need water etc
tasteless food
Dishonest practises charging something without letting you know
Went once Never again won’t even buy their tsatsiki at gorcery store
Look elsewhere ppl And check your bill before paying In post Covid time we all watch our buck and don’t want to be fooled One star is one star too many -190 more like...
Read more9 of us went for dinner here on Aug 18, 23. I was surprised to see the restaurant empty at 8:30pm on a Friday evening. The restaurant is decorated very nicely and it reminded me of when I went to Santorini.
My buddy and I shared the $60 meat plate and ordered a few sides. The portion was very generous and the food was not bad. The chicken was very dry by the rest of the platter was great
The reason why I rated this poorly was because at the start of dinner, a rat ran across the restaurant and underneath the bench. It also frequently came out during dinner and it wasn’t a good experience eating there knowing the furry friend would pop out anytime. Also knowing that it was there and I afraid of us, I could only imagine how it and its friends may be frequenting the kitchen at night. I made the manager aware and he was trying to capture it for a bit of the night. He blamed the construction nearby as the reason but for a person who works in food industry like myself, that is never an acceptable excuse for rodents in the restaurant.
I was expecting a “drinks on the house” or a slight discount on dinner due to our experience but that never came. We paid full price for everything and we went off to enjoy the rest of our night. There were no other customers that came in for the duration of the dinner.
We won’t be...
Read moreThis place is having an identity crisis. At night, there's a DJ playing music to dance to, but there's no room for dancing at all. People have to dance around the tables, which is really awkward. They're trying to be a club/restaurant/lounge but can't do any of those right.
The food was dry, way too expensive and disgusting. The first plate given to me before my food arrived was still dirty and covered in specks of sauce.
The music was way too loud for a restaurant experience as well, I had to yell at my neighbour for them to barely comprehend me.
The owner lets people smoke indoors and next to people who are eating, and don't stand up to him, or he'll give you attitude.
And worst of all, this place DOES NOT FOLLOW COVID-19 REGULATIONS. I forgot my identification, and they didn't even bother to ask for it. Waiters serve food without masks, and I'm sure the chefs don't either.
This place is (as another reviewer put it) a dumpster fire of a restaurant. Please, do NOT go here. If you want Arahova, go to another one of their locations, I've only heard good...
