I had to put a star because I want to share my experience at this place. This review is not actually a review about the food but about the owner of the restaurant here in Decarie. Me and my mom went inside to see the restaurant's menu and look for something to eat but when we decided that we don't feel like eating something from the menu, we went to the exit door and then the waitress approached and spoke with us in french (I even asked her to speak in english because I don't understand french) but she just walked away with anger, then a guy (the owner) from the counter window screaming at us "what do you want! what do you want!" He keeps on screaming until we came outside the restaurant and he even followed us angrily. I told him I am calling 911 because we don't have idea what is he attempting to do, so we walk fast until we reached the nearby restaurant, Harvey's. He keeps on screaming and cursing us. We felt assaulted and humiliated, it may not be physically but mentally and emotionally. It is a traumatizing experience that I needed to call 911 but the officer told me they cannot do anything about the incident, I was shaking in fear. The police officer is even aware that the guy is the owner and they received a lot of reports about him. For me, it is absolutely a shocking and traumatizing experience when you don't have any idea why is he very angry and you don't have idea what is he capable to do. Just beware when you visit this restaurant and MAYBE make sure you order something from them so you won't get the same experience and be threatened...
Read moreI went there for a job interview as they were looking for someone to help with whatever they were "going to" explain to me in person, which they didn't, and isntead the owner/manager, Milad, asked me to stand behind the cash and the training started right away! I thought this might just be something to get an idea about what and how they do, but it turned out that he expected me to stay the whole shift as a proof that I "do" want the job a 100%! After an hour of training/serving I thought okay now I need to talk to him and talk over the details of the job and my availability and etc. But, he had left! So I left as well, and after a few hours he calls me not so happy about my leave! And as I tell him I was there for an interview not to start right away, he goes like "this is the way "I" do it and this is "my" system!" And hangs up on me! The rudest and the most unprofessional manager I've ever met! Not to mention about the cleanliness and hygiene of the place! They used the same cloth to clean the tables, seats, counters, trays, fridge walls, etc. They would make the sandwiches with bare hands, no gloves, and put the steamed hot dogs on the bare counter! And what shocked me was when they felled bunch of cups on the ground and instead of putting tossing them out, put them back with other cups! Not even rinsing them.. god it was such terrible experience...
Read moreI recently dined at La Bella Province with a friend around yesterday ( Thursday ) 10:20 - 10:45 pm the owner should check the camera !
our experience was deeply disappointing. The grill area was not only unhygienic and filthy, but also the staff refused to clean it when we requested it due to dietary restrictions. This is especially important considering that many Muslims, Jews, and others from various faiths and cultures do not consume pork. Respecting these dietary needs is fundamental to good customer service.
Beyond the religious and cultural considerations, HOW COME GRILL CAN BE THAT DIRTY AND REFUSED TO BE CLEAN WHEN CLIENT ASK ?
the overall attitude of the staff was unacceptable. When we asked for the grill to be cleaned, the staff member simply refused without any explanation. HE SAID NO I WONT CLEAN IT TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT This lack of respect and hygiene is concerning and definitely affects the dining experience.
Even the guy at cashier say I am sorry he was nice but the grill guy with tattoo was very unprofessional! I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements. A restaurant’s reputation is built on respect and cleanliness, and I truly hope La Bella Province can uphold...
