Marathon Souvlaki — Restaurant in Montreal

Had dinner with a group of 9. Reservations were made by not myself. When we arrived we still had to wait but I never spoke to anyone myself so I'm not sure what happened. When we were seated were put at a table for 8 when our 9th showed up it was a bit awkward however, the absolute second the table next to us became free what looked like the floor manager immediately had the table cleaned and attached to ours to make more room for the whole group. This was very much appreciated! I was impressed with how quickly that was moved on.

The food is the best Greek food I've ever had(but I haven't had a lot). I ordered the chicken pita plate with a 2nd pita. I could not finish it and had to take the 2nd pita home. The pita was incredibly fresh along with everything else. The rice was neither over nor under done and the flavor was 100% there. The lettuce on the house salad was incredibly fresh and crisp and was not swimming in the dressing!

All in all for 2 people we ordered 2 chicken pita plates with a 2nd pita each and 2 ice teas which came to about $50 before tip! This can be reduced by ordering water and no 2nd pita(4.25or...

Quality good as usual. Portions cut in half at least. I'm a regular marathons client since I've been a kid. Feel like I ordered 2 double big macs and got served a single kids meal. The marathon salad was bigger than the whole plate rice and fries included. Picture on Uber shows a full plate just like when ordering in the restaurant but what I got in terms of meat wasn't even the half size of my palm. Also the carrots in the rice were rock hard. Embarrassing. I don't know if the portioning is only this small on Uber eats and bigger if you order take out but 20$ for a plate I could get more meat portion ordering a single taco at quesada or mexigrill or equivalent for 3$. Complete rip off if you ask me. Might've lost a lifelong client. Again it wasn't just 1 plate it was 2 and misleading the customer with pictures showing huge portions compared to what I ordered is a big turn off. How can you serve something at the same price and cut portions by more than half while advertising it as the same portions it's always been? Hoping this isn't the case and it's just a one off. Not sure I'm willing to order again and find out. Waste of money....

I made an order to pick up food on 03-10 but only to realize an item was missing from my order once I got back home (I live 30min away and was in the area exceptionally that day) I called them up to get a refund of my item missing, but they say they couldn't that I could either come back now to pick it up or they would give me a credit of the same amount to compensate me. I told them that I just wanted a refund and explained them I was not from the area. The manager repeated that she could only give me a credit (of the same amount) for next time to compensate me, I told them if they really wanted to compensate me they should at least give me double that amount since it was a mistake from their end. Finally I asked to speak to the owner which I was told was not there, but was told would call me back the next day as my request. Obviously I didn't get a call back. It's unfortunate because the food was not bad, but horrible client customer service. Never got my money back or even a credit...
