We went as a group for a family get together. The Pikilia entree had the usual items. The difference here is the dolmades have the rice and meat inside. We all picked at the pikilia and nobody had any complaints. The waiter was polite but for a restaurant that was not busy he could have made sure everyone was OK. The table from Vancouver next to us was definitely getting 5 star service from their waiter. I had a mousakah which was properly layered and had the perfect texture. The food of my guests looked equally well prepared and portions were sufficient. The only negative point was having to hunt down the waiter about 10 minutes after the entree arrived to ask why some dolmades were pinker than others on the inside. They have a small terrace on the side street so its quiet and worth considering if the weather is nice.

Dry dry and dry. The meat was chewy like I was eating the actual cow skin. You could basically make a shoe with the gyro. The portions were nice and big but what’s the point if it’s disgusting?? I can see why this place has a low rating. The sign at the front says fresh, but the food is clearly froze. Nasty. The calamari’s batter was falling apart and the calamari was tough. The theme for this chain is chewy and tough.

I don't know what happened to this place, but it's terrible service now. I was a customer of Arahova since 2010. I know this because that's when my wife moved here, and that's when we first ordered from them together.

Just a few days ago, I ordered some food, and they forgot $6 worth of food from my order. Not an issue to me really, I called them to let them know it was forgotten and see if they could deliver it. The woman I spoke to refused to deliver it and offered me a $6 credit, and I agreed.

Only 4-5 days later, I call again and they tell me that they do not deliver to my address. I protest, saying that they always have and also just did a few days ago, and they told me to call them back in a couple of hours. I did so, and they then claimed that I had no credit for $6 written in their computers. I calmly tried to explain my case to them on the phone while I was being passed around to multiple people, finally ending with a woman talking down to me and complaining about her issues at the restaurant. The whole thing made me feel obviously uneasy considering these are the people handling my families food (I figured at this point they would spit in my food with the way she was talking to me) so I canceled my order completely.

It's REALLY not much money to lose for me, it was only $6, however the way they acted over a measly $6 was ridiculous. They shouldn't have people making claims that they won't follow through with, and now they have lost a customer that they've had loyal to them for almost a decade.

I've easily given them thousands of dollars worth of business over the years, for them to ruin the whole thing over $6.

Pathetic. Places like this should learn that as a business, service is just as important as the product. Especially when I was remaining very polite even though I was getting screwed out of money.

It's beyond unappetizing, its downright...

Even late at night when I'm drunk, starved and nothing else is open, I can't bring myself to spend my money there ever again! The food is decent, don't get me wrong, in fact it's the only reason it gets a second star in my rating but it is wayyyy to expensive for what it is. This isn't upscale Greek food, it's freaking "text Mex" and they charge you 18$ for one, count it, ONE skimpy little brochette on some rice and a lazily assembled salad. And they don't even have Greek potatoes, just simple frozen straight cut fries!!! I have no idea why people give this a good rating. No offense, but the people who eat here and come back DON'T KNOW the value of money and good Greek food. Do yourselves a favor at that price and go to a real Greek restaurant. I've left scalding reviews before but this place REALLY offended me, I've never felt so "taken" when I handed them my money. I hope I'm there to see the day this place closes down and If the owner or manager is reading this 🖕, you have been robbing the good people of the Mile end for way to long you...

The food is very bad and for sure overpriced. Unfortunately I was super hungry and had a child with me so we couldn’t really leave hence why I stayed to eat the food. We were Served cold, less than average food. I ordered the chicken platter with Greek salad and roast potatoes and the chicken which both were cold. When I asked for it to be reheated (microwaved as it was originally) the waiter brought it back saying “I hope it’s better now. “ sure after you microwaved the hell out of it. Yes I’m sure it is hot. Anyway we also ordered lentil soup (they managed to microwave it to the right temperature I guess) but it came late with the food even though it’s supposed to be coming first. And finally Our waiter kept forgetting parts of our order. Even till the very end. Unfortunately will not recommend this place. Save your money. P.s you might wanna fix your ladies bathroom (smelt bad...
