Friendly neighborhood bistro, the kind with the menu on the blackboard, good portions and decent prices. They always have a burger, a pizza, mussels, poutine and a pasta dish, sometimes they'll have a fish or steak. Appetizers also available. They have a cute backyard patio. We had the fried calamari, which was excellent. I had a tuna tartare and my sweetheart had the mussels in a tomato/basil sauce. Both came with thin fries and homemade mayo. Both were good. They have a few basic beers on tap and a small wine list. When we feel like eating out but don't want anything too fancy this is our default bistro.

Decent brunch, but the service is pretty bad. I came twice here and it's always been under staffed. We were four, never had a coffee refill in 1 hour and the ketchup we requested never came... Apart from that the food was good and the portion enough to fill me up. For 10$ I got a decent plate: fruits, beans, 2 eggs, bacon, coffee, potatoes, bread. They have a terrace at the back (very sunny) and at the front (in the shade). Pints for 3.5$!!

Wow, what a find! Charming Bistro with dynamic menu. Attentive service. It was not crowded for lunch. Had the burger with smoked meat layer on top. Delicious. The fries were perfect. Thin and crispy. The back patio looks amazing and I will definitely come back for cocktails this summer. Great place for business lunch. My guest was impressed. This just might become my favorite Verdun hang-out!

We arrived a beautiful Sunday morning at 9:30am. There wasn’t anyone else in the restaurant and therefore this should have been a sign. The waitress was nice but not a smile to be had. We both ordered the eggs Benedict with salmon and goat cheese. This is always my dish that I order when I go somewhere new first for the first time. Let’s start with the positive. The poached eggs were poached perfectly and I did enjoy the spinach that seemed to be part of the hollandaise sauce. However, the hollandaise sauce was very watery and lacking the buttery goodness you usually associate with this sauce. My bagel was a bit over toasted but still good. The salmon on the other hand was really over powering compared to any other I’ve ever had. The potatoes were a hit or miss. With some being quite yummy or being undercooked in the center. We ordered a side order of bacon but it was so overcooked it literally basically crumbled. The fruit stick was interesting and the melon and fruit were fresh. I went there with high hopes of finding a new breakfast place. Especially, after reading such great reviews. Unfortunately, we won’t be...

Stop searching, eat here. Wonderful ambiance: up-cycled wood paneling, street-side and secluded alley-way terrace. Unobtrusive but upbeat music. People: Warm, helpful, kid-friendly, bi-lingual staff. Food: Simple recipes, well-prepared, with quality ingredients. Drink: Amazing cocktails, local beers, and nightly specials (ex: $3.50 pints). Good for romantic dates, big family meals, boys/girls night out. Seriously, our family will only go elsewhere when we've exhausted the menu. Can't recommend this place highly enough. Best part: it's decent prices! Table d'hote with app, main, dessert, coffee...
