Rôtisseries Coq-O-Bec — Restaurant in Montreal

Delicious, but prices are screwy. Poster on the front of the restaurant said 8.90 for the choix du chef. I ordered 2, and the cashier informed me that the prices were different and the cheaper way to get what I wanted was to get the super combo, which was supposed to be $20 plus tax. Thought it was strange to have an advertised special with the wrong price but whatever; then the total for the super combo after taxes was over $25. Food was delicious, but it felt sketchy like there was some sort of bait and switch. Probably won't be back.

Edited 10/20/2021 I know what the chef's choice special is; I ordered two of them, and the staff member told me that they weren't $8.90, despite that being the advertised price. She then told me that the super combo, which was advertised as $20, would be cheaper to get the same thing, so I went with that. The total came to $25.28.

The food was good, but the fact is your staff member charged me more than the advertised prices, and I wanted to let people know. After seeing your comments, I've decided to lower my rating, because this is an unacceptable way to respond.

SERVICE INNACCEPTABLE!!! 1h15 d'attente pour recevoir mon repas (le restaurant est à 10min de chez moi)... La sauce de ma salade cesar était déjà dans la salade et tout avait coulé dans le sac... La nourriture était complètement froide, les frites molles et les languettes de poulet également... Pas mangeable!!! J'avais demandé 2 sauces aigre-douce, il m'ont envoyé 2 sauces miel et moutarde et BBQ (???)... J'ai dit au téléphone que j'allais payé par carte de crédit, le livreur arrive chez moi sans sa machine et me rit au visage, trouvant ça très drôle... C'est par chance que j'avais de l'argent sur moi... Que serait-il arrivé sinon? Il m'aurait laissé le repas gratuitement?! Non seulement ça, je prend la peine de rappeler au restaurant pour expliquer au gérant ce qui venait de m'arriver, il me crit dessus en me disant que jamais ils n'ont reçu de tels commentaires et il essaie de me dire que j'exagère... D'une impolitesse!!! Et vous voulez rire encore plus? IL M'OFFRE 5$ DE RABAIS SUR MA PROCHAINE COMMANDE!!! Non mais il a du culo... C'est vraiment rire de ses clients... En plus il ose me dire qu'il doit raccrocher car ils sont très occupé. C'est dommage pour lui que mon conjoint soit l'un des meilleurs avocats au Québec...
