Boucherie et Grillades Farhat (Cote Des Neiges) — Restaurant in Montreal

Came today to order a big order for Iftar to give food to local Mosque for Ramadan. Called in advance to know if it’s possible to order food from there for today for 30 people. The guy on the phone said yes. We went by the car to the location. There were two young guys there. One didn’t speak French at all. They didn’t even give us the menu, asked why we came to order for today, that’s it’s going to be complicated to feed 30 people for them, even though we came 4 hours in advance. They were very rude and didn’t want to provide the service. When I said that we called, they said its probably the guy who finished his shift. When I asked a recommendation how much I should buy food for 30 people they just threw the menus on the table with the unhappy face and said “you should have looked at it first”. I told them that it’s not polite and they should have given us the menus from the start. One guy flipped started to curse the F the word. We exited the place without ordering. We were shocked and couldn’t believe that a Halal place would provide such a bad service to Muslim customers who wanted to do sadaka for iftar during Ramadan time. It ruined all the Holy Spirit. Absolutely terrible experience. First of all, the service was awful. The cashier didn’t even bother to ask me what garnitures I wanted — just stood there looking annoyed. Then the chef started making the sandwich however he wanted, without asking me anything. When I told him I wanted to personalize it, he rudely told me it was already “all dressed” according to some receipt on his make line. His attitude was disrespectful and unprofessional. As for the food... terrible. The bread tasted old and stale, and the only thing I could taste was the overpowering garlic sauce — it was so strong it completely masked everything else. Honestly, it felt like they were just throwing ingredients together and hoping no one would complain. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. First and last time I set...

The food is fine, the 1 star ⭐️ is for the old cook crook man who didn’t want to accept credit card 💳 payment lied to my face that the machine doesn’t accept credit payments…what a joke ! so he doesn’t have to pay taxes out of it and the merchant fees. He scammed me for $34 Canadian dollars extra !!! I gave him $100 American 🇺🇸 dollar which is equivalent to $137 Canadian dollar and he gave me back $55 Canadian dollar so he charged me $82 Canadian dollar My total 🟰 was $48 Canadian dollars only Thats not how you get ready to meet your god !
