First time ever doing a bad review because people should be given the benefit of the doubt but in this economy, paying 25$ for an imitation pad thai warranted it. Zucchinis? Onions? Peppers? Would have happily done without and would have loved the regular tamarin based sauce instead of some type of sweet and sour... Maybe take it out of the menu if you won't make it properly

UPDATE Following the response of the restaurant: Yes, sorry, 25$ 2 for 1... meaning that the pad Thaï is usually how much if not 25? Was that actually 2 for 1 or did you inflate the price of the item for the promotion?

Regardless, no zucchini mentioned in the description, no onions, no peppers, no iceberg lettuce either (I omitted it the first time to be nice). As for the sauce, fine, my bad, I thought it was just your way of describing the dish. Not that it would actually be "that". I'm sorry my review is not what you wished for but you can't just always blame the customer. You've eaten out before you know what constitutes a dish as common...

We had an unpleasant experience at this restaurant where my friends had recommended their Bun Mam. We ordered seven servings, but unfortunately, the broth was too salty, and the squid paste was not fresh, resulting in an unpleasant smell. I wasn't sure if this was typical, as it was my first time trying this dish, so I asked my friends, and it appeared there were two batches of squid paste, one fresh and one old mixed in our bowls. To our disappointment, when we brought this to the attention of the waitress (or owner), she continued to serve us the same questionable food instead of checking its quality. While she did compensate us with egg rolls, a sincere apology and a discount would have been more appreciated. We experienced digestive issues afterward. I would advise caution regarding the food quality at this...

Nice little restaurant on Beaubien.

We had the beef with vegetables and vermicelli and the BBq chicken Pho.

The beef with vegetables was plentiful and tasty. I found the vermicelli to be a bit mushy and stuck together. The beef was tender and tasty and there was plenty of vegetables.

The side salad looked like it was close to being no good anymore but it's literally just a side on the plate and I would still be satisfied if they removed it entirely.

The BBQ Chicken Pho was also large, tasty and packed with veggies.

Great value for the size of the meal.

The staff is polite and courteous and since they expanded their seating, it is much more comfortable.

You can't go wrong with this small family restaurant and I wouldn't hesitate to...

Cozy, family-owned business restaurant. There is nothing fancy about this place, the food will speak for itself. Before Covid, this place always busy with pick up and customers inside, so you have to prepare for the wait time. They are famous for “Bún Mắm” (let’s called it Spicy Seafood soup), my favorite and it’s amazing. “Canh bún” and “Bún chả mực” also awesome. For those can’t eat spicy, please make sure to check with the chef/owner because the heat in the soup is no joke. You might feel pricey when you see the price for a bowl of soup, but trust me the portion is fair and generous. You can pay cash and debit. During covid time, they’re open for pick up and the portion still generous.

For context pho is one my favorite dishes in the world. We went to this place due to proximity is was completely empty on a Saturday night and smelled like a smoker booth. The waitress barely speaks any French or English and has zero care in the world she was on the phone the whole time. I took a pho with rare beef. The beef was completely cooked and had the texture of rubber and the pho broth tasted like salted water and smelled funky like rotten meat or fish. I didn’t eat anything I ordered and will never come back here.
