My group of five had dinner at this little eatery in the evening on a Thursday. There was a longer than expected wait to get in, about 30 minutes, but we did have a large party so I can understand that. Once we finally got inside, there was another wait for some customers to clear out (two women hanging around at a table for four, chatting, and the servers were too nervous to urge them along), which meant an extra 15 minutes before we could be fully seated. The servers came over almost immediately then to take our orders and were properly apologetic for the slow customers before us. I ordered a Classic Burger and my partner ordered the Chèvre Burger. Also at my table were two Chicken burgers and one Beaubien. The food came out almost simultaneously, less than a minute between when everyone got their plates, which was a good surprise to me. Weirdly enough though, they did not come to check on us again until it was to collect our plates. I was a little disappointed when biting into my burger. The patty had no seasoning. The lettuce was crisp and the tomatoes were juicy though, which was nice. I did not like their onions. I can understand that it's their basic burger, but the fact that it was a miss, flavor-wise, was a disappointment. I had a bite of the Chèvre Burger also ordered at my table and I found that the lamb, bacon, and cheese added a considerable amount of taste to the burger. If there's one good thing I can say about this restaurant is that the french fries are phenomenal. Extremely well seasoned and perfect temperature. Additionally, the mayo served on the side, of which I had the Chipotle and my partner the garlic one, is extremely tasty and a perfect pair to the french fries. I would definitely return to this little spot but I would probably go with a smaller party and I would definitely order something other than the Classic burger.

We actually googled the thickest juiciest burger in Montreal and came across La Boulette. We drove 25 minutes to get there and were definitely glad we did! If you're after a perfect patty, this is your place. The consistency, the flavor, the temperature, the toppings .. yes, my boyfriend had a bun. They are homemade and he is a fuss pot. It still came out with his two thumbs up! I don't do gluten so opted for a lettuce wrap as you can see. I ended up pushing most of the lettuce onto my salade and just eating the delicious burger with the toppings. My god those caramelized onions. Yum!! Also, service definitely merits mention. The place was packed. We barely waited for a table and once we sat, everything was perfect. Drink orders, a return for our food order. Drinks and food served very promptly. Bill and machine at the table when we were done. No waiting at all. Oh, and we had a beef tartare for an appie. Try it, it's to die for. You'll love this place!

Great atmosphere, and delicious burgers in a lovely neighbourhood. This was my first time eating out in the area, and we decided to give La boulette a try. The fries were excellent, bun delicious, patty was quite good but a tad greasy. The one thing I would point out is that the burgers are loaded with mayo; it was literally oozing out of the bun and every which way. This made the burger a lot heavier on the stomach, but still good overall. Would love to come back and try other things on the menu!

We waited almost an hour but it was a warm night. We split a bottle of wine .Waiter opened the bottle then served some wine to each but after that never poured any wine again. I expect open and forget in a BYOB not a licenced restaurant The free water bottles offered the water tasted good . The design of the diningroom room was not adjusted for noise control . When people talk and the sound bounces on the walls it is so loud that you have to talk loud for others to hear you and after 1.5 hours the noise truly got On my nerves and I was happy to leave . Given that it is a very busy and profitaabke spot hiring a sound proofing service to install solutions would be a very good gift for all customers . Onto the food .I had a beef tartare to start which I have to say was the best tartare ever . Better than l Express . After that was the Meal sized Salmon salad . Asked for medium but was a tad overcooked . I did not turn it back because the taste was good . The dressing was well balanced . Tasted the mushroom burger that my guest had . She liked it . As someone who follows a Keto style diet that would not do for me . Given so many people are eating Keto style suggestion to add protein ingredients to lift the protein value . Maybe add a quail egg smack on top of your mushrooms and a few toasted pie nuts and a slice of cheese and use a bread bun built with protein ? You don’t have to listen but if you do Keto fans will appreciation with devotion .. Thé pouding charmeur was as good as the last time I had one at Globe when the chef had it as a special item with shavings of black truffle and blueberries in an orange Grand Marnier syrup . The two very different . This one here stands out as an outstanding choice to share . One portion will push your sugar intake into the spiked zone for 4 but was amazing anyway . I would offer a scoop of home made sorbet as an extra low in sugar to offset the deliciously sweet profile . Just suggestions the neighborhood loves the spot. Prices are fair . With taxes and tip spent 123 For two. If you don’t order wine the bill is less and if you don’t order a starter is cheaper again . Once dessert was eaten we were asked if we wanted coffee and ten min after we were asked if we wanted to enjoy anything else . And the bills were delivered . Expect the bills to be delivered . This is not a hang out spot . Always a line up . Go there . Eat enjoy and after that do what Europeans do . “ Take a walk “...

We ordered two burgers. While waiting for our food a waitress came with two burgers, put them on our table, before automatically removing them and giving them to the two persons next to us.

Before receiving our food, one of our burgers was giving to another customer, that started eating the fries in the dish. When the waitress realized it wasnt to the right person, she took it back in the kitchen for 10 seconds and came back out to put it on our table.

We didnt know which of the two the dishes had been eaten from until we saw one of the dips has had a frie dipped in it.

After not touching the plate for 10 minutes, the waitress came and offered to remove the alcoholic beverage from the bill.

Not only did they not bother tell us that the plate was accidentaly given to someone else, they tried to cover it up in a lousy way by bringing it back to the kitchen 10 seconds before coming back out. This was the most insulting part of it all. And they did not change the sauce nor the fries in the dish.

Overall, they ruined the whole meal the way this was handeled. And from the comments ive read this is not the first time they make mistakes like that.

Food is good. But service and ethics surrounding the service is at the lowest level possible. Even third world countries dont treat...
