I had been a loyal client of Myriade for more than ten years, but my recent experience at this location was nothing short of disgusting. The mugs were visibly dirty, and when I pointed it out to an employee, I was met with sheer arrogance—he dismissed it with a smug "just stains," as if that made it acceptable. Coffee is naturally oily, and if mugs aren’t properly washed, that oil builds up. It’s not "normal" or "habitual"—it’s filth, plain and simple. A basic detergent or, god forbid, some actual scrubbing would fix it, but apparently, even that’s too much effort here.
And the attitude? Even worse than the hygiene. This employee carried himself like serving drinks in clean cups was beneath him. When I sarcastically said, "also, don’t apologize," he sneered back, "don’t worry, I won’t apologize," like it was some kind of power move. The level of pettiness is astounding. I asked for a reimbursement and escalated the issue to the owner, only to be outright dismissed. Instead of addressing the problem, the co-owner, Skye, just blocked me from further communication—because why take responsibility when you can just silence complaints, right?
These people love to parade around as progressive, socially aware, or whatever their latest branding is, but it’s nothing more than a hollow act. Beneath the performative allyship is a crew that doesn’t care about basic service, cleanliness, or decency. The coffee itself has gone downhill—mediocre at best—and all they have left is their attitude, whether it’s the self-important barista who thinks he’s above washing dishes, or Skye, the co-owner, who was a completely unprofessional.
After a decade of loyalty, I’m done...

This place portrays itself as a third wave cafe and I honestly like the place but this particular branch despite how busy it is, it never made me happy The baristas lacked passion and every time they serve my flat whites with the milk steamed to almost boiling temperature and serve it with large bubbly foam
Especially when I come at the evening, the barista chats with customers as I am waiting on line without apologizing for this rudeness and lack of professionalism
Quality control with hot milk based espresso drinks is terrible at this branch and for that reason, and after ordering for more than 10 times at different times, I really don’t...
Read more3:45 Sunday March 20th. Mont-Royal. I walk in with my partner and friendly as always I ask the employee if she had anything to recommend for a hot day, something iced. She shrugged her shoulders and said “get what you want I don’t care. I’m here to make coffee and you are here to order”I ask again this time in fluent French. Again she is beyond rude and reitarates that she is just there to make coffee and not to recomendable and that she has 0 recommendations. I just cancel my order and leave. I would think it would be common sense for a barista to have preferences or to atleast recommend or communicate in a respectful and non condescending manner. I hope management has a chat and takes...
