I’ve been coming to this place here and there when I come to the library. Never disappointed by the coffees or pastries, but today really got me into writing this review.

I must say that this is my 3rd review ever and the first bad one. The barista was clearly in a bad mood, worst customer service. Rude, impatience and didn’t even apologized.

I was trying to leave him a tip on the machine and he kept yelling in French: look at the screen so annoyed and rude. I ended up not leaving anything. I worked in customer service for more than 20 years and this is clearly my worst experience. He literally brusquely grabbed the machine and wasn’t even listening to what I was saying. Rudeness, hey buddy if you’re not happy doing what you’re doing (clearly) change...

i used to love this place to study since theres always food around (athough pricy but thats just about every cafe out there) but now the back section is constantly closed for some reason and there’s no longer room to sit? i liked sitting in the back because it was quiet away from the ruckus of the metro and the chattering of people going in and out of the cafe, plus there are outlets to charge my stuff. now its always closed off for some reason and I dont get why? today there were people sitting in the back and I asked if i could go sit there too and was told “no its closed”.. why?? it’s not a comfy study spot anymore and that is very unfortunate. im gonna have to hunt for a new place...

I come here to study, grab a coffee that tastes great and that I know they can do with coconut milk or with any other non dairy product (getting older sucks). Other then that, they have fresh pastries, croissants, chocolate croissants, a variety of muffins and, In case you're hungry for something more consistent, there's sandwiches and salads. Be forewarned that nearly all sandwiches include cheese and so does some of their salads.
