Prepare yourself for a tale of frustration, impatience, and a complete lack of competence that left us questioning our sanity and vowing never to return to 3 amigos. This disastrous dining experience will forever be etched in our memories, serving as a cautionary tale for all who seek a pleasant meal.
Arriving at 3 amigos with high hopes and hearty appetites, little did we know that our evening would swiftly descend into a culinary abyss. From the moment we stepped inside, chaos reigned supreme. The disorganized hostess barely acknowledged our presence. After an eternity, we were reluctantly shown to our table. Little did we know, that was the least of our worries. After being seated, we eagerly perused the menu, excitedly discussing our preferences and imagining the delightful flavors that awaited us. Little did we know that we were about to embark on an agonizing journey of endless waiting.
A staggering 45 minutes passed before a server deigned to grace our table with their presence. Frustration and hunger gnawed at us as we watched other tables receive prompt attention and orders swiftly taken. Our requests for assistance were met with dismissive nods and promises of "just a moment." It became abundantly clear that we were not a priority in this chaotic establishment.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, our server, who seemed perpetually bewildered, approached our table with a vacant stare and an aura of indifference, to take our orders. Didn’t even dare apologizing for the wait, just decided to take our order as if everything was just fine. And then, the waiting game began. Minutes turned into hours—or so it seemed. Our stomachs growled in protest, echoing the collective frustration of our party. The tantalizing scent of food wafted through the air, teasing our senses. But alas, it was all a cruel illusion. Time stretched on, with each passing minute amplifying our impatience and discontent. An hour and a half into our stay, our long-awaited dishes arrived. When our dishes finally arrived, it was as if the kitchen staff had conspired to unleash their collective incompetence upon us. The presentation resembled a surrealist painting gone terribly wrong—plates adorned with mismatched ingredients haphazardly thrown together. The food itself was a grotesque amalgamation of overcooked meats, underseasoned vegetables, and sauces that tasted suspiciously like dishwater.
Half of the table received their meals, only to be met with disappointment and dismay. The once-promising dishes were cold, lacking any semblance of the flavors we had anticipated. We attempted to salvage the situation, but our taste buds revolted against the dismal fare. It was a grave insult to the concept of a hot meal.
Meanwhile, the other half of our table sat in limbo, their empty plates serving as a stark reminder of their neglected state. Ten minutes passed, and still, their orders remained untouched by the hands of the kitchen staff. We reached our breaking point, overcome with frustration and a deep sense of injustice. It was at this moment that we made a drastic decision: to abandon the sinking ship. We made our exit, refusing to further subject ourselves to the abysmal service and lackluster cuisine. We vowed never to return, sparing ourselves from the torment of such an establishment.
To the manager of 3 amigos, I implore you to reflect upon your woeful shortcomings. Time is a valuable asset, and the way you squandered ours is unforgivable. Your inability to provide timely service and deliver meals with any semblance of quality is an insult to those who seek a pleasant dining experience.
To those who may consider dining at this restaurant, take heed of our cautionary tale. Spare yourself the agony, frustration, and the inevitable empty wallet. Seek solace in establishments that value their patrons, where efficient service and delectable cuisine are not distant dreams but...
Read moreI decided to order food from 3 Amigos online via Door Dash for pick up. It was my first time using the Door Dash app. After the 20-30 minute preparation period passed, Door Dash alerted me that food might be ready, so I went to 3 Amigos to pick it up. I walked in and went to the end of the restaurant. I saw a couple of people who work there that were laughing together. I told one of them I have a Door Dash order. Suddenly, he became super-serious, and without looking at my cell phone order details, he told me in a very unfriendly hurried tone that I should wait and that the order would come to me. He then left without giving me a chance to ask further questions. Given that no one looked into my order information (like my name) on my phone app, I was not sure if I would ever get my order by just waiting. I tried to ask someone else there questions and he tried to get out of the conversation without addressing my concern or at least sending me to someone else who would help me. Hello! I paid $40+ for an order. At least, give me good service with a smile. Workers there treated me like I am a very unimportant person or not equal to them in importance. They did not treat me like I was an equally important client to everyone else at the restaurant despite my order not being a cheap one. I have been going to 3 Amigos since the 90's, and the restaurant normally has very respectful staff. Eventually, I asked another staff person I ran into about my Door Dash order and she told me to go even deeper inside all the way to a window. Inside, they finally saw my order information and told me to wait there for my order to be ready. The odd thing is when the order was ready, they didn't just bring me the order as per good service. They asked me to go a bit forward in the restaurant to grab my order from someone. At least, bring me the order if you made me wait. Anyways, overall I felt very uncomfortable with the process as a customer. It was not good service whatsoever. In proper restaurants, staff members are taught that every client matters and that they cannot ever treat a client as if he is not important, so this restaurant definitely fails in that department. Next time, I am going to record the entire interaction and post it online. The service was completely unacceptable. Also, I could tell that a big part of the reason is some of the workers did not look like real Canadians or Canadians that lived most of their lives in Canada. They had rough accents and manners and were probably roughing me around the way they are roughed where they come from. We don't treat each other like that in Canada. If staff members are not qualified to treat Canadians like gentle Canadians, they oughta not get hired in the first place or a restaurant hiring them oughta get closed immediately until all of them are let go. That's how respectful good service is ensured for everyone with...
Read moreOrdered Veg tacos and Veg burritos, but was served with chicken tacos and Veg burritos today June15, 2025 9:00pm. When told to the Manager , he came and said sorry. So it’s not matter of saying sorry for people who have been vegetarian throughout their life’s , there is really a reason and belief of saving animals life and religious beliefs. If you ask me how it feels let’s serve a pork dish to a person ordering chicken what would he/she do ? Just say sorry . After noticing the mistake manager takes the chicken dish to the kitchen ( I took the picture before he takes it to the kitchen along with the bill, to make sure the waitress took right order of veggie which she did precisely ) to ask the chief and may be had some argument which was a smart move just to take away the dishes. After Manager calls someone pretending to call the owner (I hope owner knows now ) and comes to me again with a sorry and asking me what else can he do. To be honest you cannot reverse back time in real life and likewise purity of body and beliefs(may not be understood by all) the mental disturbance can never be compensated even if we decided to su someone. I decided to pay the complete bill as I don’t eat for free , I work hard and pay my own bills, which I did by cash (have picture) as the manager was not accepting the bill and was really generous and dint give me the machine to pay. Since manager asked me what can he do for me , I asked him to give free food for 100people /customer , although it’s going to compensate my damages , he was not even trying for it I think again called someone on his personal phone , now he spoke to secretory of the restaurant and conveys my message (I hope the secretory knows now) . I also wanted to talk to owner which I know was no way I can with this manager , he asked me to leave my number so some one will call me tomorrow. So I asked owners number instead so I can call when I am free from my work , but I dint get owners number but the manager writers for me the the restaurants landline number saying someone will answer, likewise I dint give my number. So after a wonderful day and start of the week I had this experience, seems I won’t visit this restaurant again , although I love Mexican food...
