Awful customer service.
I came here and got a chicken patty from the girl working here. I stood off to the side and waited while several people ordered. After a while one of them asked the guy working there, “Mohammed” (black shirt and silver chain, wouldn’t give me his last name), if my food was ready.
He checked with his coworker then he said no. Since I arrived earlier than the other guy, I asked about mine as well. After talking amongst themselves he started to get a patty out of the oven, but started asking me a slew of weird questions did you order a beef patty? (I already stated it was chicken) did you want it warmed up? (Obviously yes, that’s why I was checking if it was ready) Etc
At this point I’m confused by all the question, I had only asked for a simple chicken patty to be reheated.
“I have to make sure it is warmed up first” he says annoyedly, even as he hands mine to me
I double checked if it’s actually reheated? Yes he says. So why all the complaining and attitude, and all the weird questions? (He just stared at me and said he is weird, at one point. His coworker looks away and didn’t say anything, like she just wants to minimise the interaction)
They had no problem answering the older man even though his food was not ready, when I, an androgynous and masculinely-styled girl, asks the same question, a ton of weirdness and rudeness? — despite the fact I had been waiting longer, and it appears they had forgotten my order.
I asked to speak to the manager or owner, they claimed he was also “Mohammed” but he was not there. So I asked the clerk his last name so to distinguish from any others, but he wouldn’t say.
I don’t know why such a disparity in their treatment of their customer (homophobia? Racism? Sexist?) but I know I won’t be...

I’ve eaten here a few times, the food is good, but what drove me to this 1 star is safety. I ordered a manoushe, it comes out of the oven sizzling and dripping. They wrap it in this super thin sheet and place it in a super thin bag.
I challenge you to be able to hold this bag with a sizzling steaming manoushe that just got out of the oven 20 seconds ago.
How is a person expected to hold this without getting burned? This is a huge safety risk of a first degree burn to someone’s hand with hot oil and cheese dripping out. They don’t have the decency of letting it sit for 1 minute before it’s wrapped!!
Let alone the male staff who seems to wake up and choose anger everyday - but that’s for...

They have a lot of homemade fresh pastries. We tried the following:
carré au bœuf épicé; a savory pastry square filled with spiced ground beef Chtoura bœuf; Likely a variation or a type of Sfeeha with a beef filling fatayer aux épinards; small savory pastries filled with spinach Lammajkun; a thin, crispy flatbread topped with a mixture of ground meat and spices. Mixed Salad
The "carré au bœuf épicé" was th best. We really enjoyed the taste a lot. Definitely when we are back to Montreal, we will visit "Chez...
