Second time at Petros but first time in Petros Griffintown. This location has a perk the others don't, it's bring your own wine. However, I find the food quality, presentation and overall care are inferior to Petros Laurier. It's too expensive for the quality. We got multiple seafood entrées including the grilled calamari, octopus and scallops. While the first two were delicious, the scallops were overcooked and chewy. Also, there were only four tiny scallops for 24$... The beetroot salad was so inconsistently chopped and the cheese was almost inexistant. As mains, we got the seabass, grilled chicken and lamb chops. They all came with vegetables and a potato. The sides were tasty as well as the fish and chicken. They were all well seasoned and well cooked. The lamb however, was so raw. The waiter never asked us for the temperature we wished our meat cooked. What a disappointment. The service was ok. When we first arrived, the waiter was very present but as the restaurant filled up, it was hard to get a hold of him. Also, there is a back door that's always opening and closing which was pretty annoying considering the cold weather. Our table was just next to it. Overall, it's great you can bring your own wine but I prefer the Petros Laurier because of the higher quality service, food presentation and good taste. It feels like there are more care in put the dishes. It's too expensive for the quality. Yeah, so I was disappointed especially since it was mother's Day.

Went to the griffintown location, they have a few different location but this one is the biggest location When you go inside the restaurant is blue and the decor makes you feel like Greece. The waiter was pretty nice to us, but for some reason we didnt know that it was BYOB. And also when we were looking at the menu we saw that it said that for Friday and Saturdays each person needs to get 2 entrees or 1 main, or a 10$ fine would apply to your bill which I've never seen to any other restaurants that I have been. And a 2$ fee to open and recycle your bottle that you bring with you. We thought that was insane for a restaurant to have those kinda rules. We were 2 ppl and we ended up ordering a few stuff, the calamari, the grilled octopus, the Greek salad and also the mezze dips. They were all so good, my favourite was the grilled octopus and the Greek salad. The calamari was good was it was abitt salty. The service was really good. When we got there it was full house. As the tables got empty our waiter gave us a bigger table which was nice because the table we had was small. The waiter checked on us a few times to see if everything was okay, and also have us loukoumades on the house, the loukoumades were okay not the greatest. Overall it was a good experience This place seemed to be good for big groups

We were looking for a Greek restaurant and this one pop out as new restaurant in Gtiffintown. Now first I have to say the food is good but there are some things that bothered us : - Food : We had the lamb and the seafood platter for 2. Lamb was very good. Seafond platter was ok... the squid (what convince us to go there) was too cooked and the rest, shrimp, calamari and fush of the of the day was just ok... nothing standing out - Place : Very nice place inside, parking wise .... good luck.... better take a taxi - Service : Ok service ... 2 guys asked us if we wanted water within 30 second intervals and the waiter was just ok. At some point one guy came to ask us if everything was ok and just waited there for finally telling us that he needed the big plate for other customer - Price : Its very expenive for what it is... now we know we took the lamb and seafood platter but still cost us 240$ with tip and bo alcohol (its bring your own wine) We left a bit disapointed but the Lamb platter saved the night !

We dined at this location on January 2, 2024. We had a reservation for 4 PPL and though we arrived 10 minutes apart from each other, we were seated at different tables even though both parties mentioned the name of the reservation. The waiter did not really know what to suggest as he couldn't even describe the differences between a snapper, a porgy and a seabass. We ordered the grilled octopus (which arrived cold) and the Mikonos salad which was supposed to have fresh fennel and figs and I couldn't find any in it . It was essentially a chopped romaine salad with what tasted like a raspberry bottled dressing with a half strawberry on top for $26. Our meal was supposed to come with Greek Potatoes and Grilled Veg and I wish I had taken a pic to attach to this review but I received the equivalent of one small piece of zucchini, one piece of eggplant and a pice of pepper and 2 small grelot potatoes. When asked why I didn't receive the traditional Greek potato wedge drenched in lemon juice and spices, I was told that the grelots were a good price that week so that is what the chef prepared. We asked for the proper potatoes and we were brought 4 wedges, 1 wedge each. If you are looking for a mid to high end dining experience, this is not the place however the prices do not seem to match the experience here. If you want the consistent quality with matching service, stick to the OG restarant that starts with a M and...

Last night, I celebrated my birthday at Petros Griffintown, and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect evening. Surrounded by my closest loved ones—my mother, father, sister, brother-in-law, and my amazing girlfriend—we were treated to an unforgettable dining experience, made even more special by the impeccable service of Marino, our longtime server whose warmth and professionalism elevated the entire night.

A BYOB place with excellent fare, we began with the mixed pikilia platter, a vibrant spread of Greek delights—crispy spanakopita, creamy dips, briny olives, and other flavorful mezze that immediately set the tone. This was followed by tender grilled scallops, beautifully presented in a rich and aromatic Greek tomato sauce that had us all savoring every bite.

For our main course, the kitchen truly outdid itself. The lamb chops were perfectly seasoned and grilled to juicy perfection. The salmon was flaky and delicate, while the giant shrimp brought bold Mediterranean flavor to the table. And the filet mignon brochette? Absolutely melt-in-your-mouth.

Petros Griffintown delivered a meal—and a memory—that I’ll treasure for years. If you’re looking for a place that combines heartwarming hospitality with world-class Greek cuisine, look no further. Thank you to Marino and the entire team for making my...
