Amazing food, the best grilled chicken in town. However guys, be extremely careful when you park your car on swail road close to the restaurant as there are some aliens roaming and breaking into cars. I was unfortunate to have my GPS, phone holder, charger cable and eyeglasses stolen on Wednesday 20 June when I parked my car around 22.10 to grab a sandwich. Those bastards surely operate in group and must have followed me. My car was locked. They have sophisticated tools to get into your car without forcing the doors or breaking the window glasses. I was waiting inside the restaurant and they knew that the food wouldn’t be ready until some 15 mins which is the normal waiting time. I only noticed it next morning when I tried to charge my phone. So watch out and I recommend to not leave your car unattended when you go there at night. Those filthy vagabonds actively roam in this area and they will surely get caught soon. Farhat needs to affix a notice informing clients of this situation and to be on the alert. They should know what’s going on in their area and keeping clients informed is also a commendable gesture which shows that they care about...
Read moreGood, affordable BBQ 'sur charbon bois franc' meat sandwiches. You can order platters by the kilo as well. The garlic sauce is so-so and sometimes the meat quality isn't the consistent, however, it's a healthier alternative to greasy food. You can also substitute a salad for fries. Update @ Feb 2, 2024, 1450hrs As an addendum to my original review from 7 years ago (still there below), this location has since moved here from the original location that was on Cote des neiges. They in fact have two locations now. The sandwich price is now double (from 4.99 - 9.99) but the taste is the same and the garlic sauce has really really improved. This location is less busy so I prefer coming here. The on infront of the Jewish hospital is way overcrowded.
Enjoy!
The place is not very clean, there are crumbs all over the floor, table and chairs. Don't expect a lot of customer service here but they will smile back if you smile and they will return the courtesy. If you speak Arabic, it's a plus! Fries are great (not healthy though) but be careful to open the box when taking out, otherwise the fries will be...

These guys are super friendly and once they know you, they can remember what you ordered the last time, and all you have to do is say "Same as last time."
In my case that's just chicken brochettes, which I bring home and assemble in pitas with sautéd vegetables and lettuce. They have excellent fried onions, of which I always get a separate container of, and this makes for a truly outstanding dinner at home.
When I was eating fries, these guys had the best fries in Montreal: not the greasy, limp, disgusting typical Montreal fries, but crisp, sweet and plentiful.
I'm headed there now. My nickname is L'Americain—they wouldn't be able to pronounce my Google name, which means "Preying mantis scorpion" (all the others were taken....
