It is my second time this week where we had a delightful dining experience at Restaurant et Poissonnerie Zeina.
I had the pleasure of dining at this place with my three brothers, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Yasser, whose charm and hospitality set the tone for an exceptional dinner.
The seafood is nothing short of spectacular. We indulged in a variety of dishes, including perfectly cooked fish ( fried and grilled ) crispy tender calamari, and succulent shrimp. The potato and salad were a delightful accompaniments, adding a touch of comfort to the meal. Each dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
A special mention must go to Lounes, who provided us with exemplary service throughout the evening. His attentiveness and professionalism made our dining experience all the more enjoyable.
Yasser, your natural gift for hospitality shone through, making us feel not just like customers, but like valued guests. His warm demeanor and attention to detail truly enhanced our visit. My brothers and I left feeling thoroughly satisfied and eager to return. I highly recommend this gem of a restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable...
Read moreWe stopped by this little seafood restaurant for dinner after a run around Saint Joseph's Oratory. The simple, unpretentious decor instantly reminded us of those hidden, family-run Mediterranean restaurants tucked away in European side streets. We can't help but to feel as if we had been transported to a vacation destination.
The owner was warm and welcoming, inviting us to take a look at the seafood counter. It featured a wide selection, from fish to prawns, mussels, and fresh lobsters. Although there were only two of us, we decided to create our own seafood platter: a lobster, some prawns, calamari, and fries to share. The service was quick, with our fries arriving first. The rest of the seafood followed shortly. Everything was cooked just right, and we were especially relieved that the lobster was tender and not overdone. The portion was perfect as any more and we probably would have struggled to walk out of the restaurant! To cap off the meal and an amazing evening, the owner kindly offered us some complimentary tea. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and would...
Read moreAfter my self-guided tour of Saint Joseph's Oratory of Mount Royal, I had worked up an appetite and craved seafood. I googled what's in the area and Restaurant et Poissonnerie Zeina popped up. It was less than 7 minutes away walk. This eatery was a quaint Mom and Pops restaurant - no frills and fancy , but has down-to-earth, personable and humble staffing. No reservation required. When I couldn''t figure what I wanted to eat, the owner pulled me aside and walked me over to his fresh, seafood selection. He said tell me what you want and I'll you how we prepare it. I decided on a large, Greek salad accompanied by broiled lobster, grilled octopus & calamari and BBQ jumbo shrimp platter. When the food arrived, I was not disappointed. The portions were generous. Everything tasted great and was seasoned well! I also wanted some extra heat. Instead handing me pepper sauce, the owner made me roasted jalapenos and aubergine; so yummy. Next time I am in Montreal, I will be sure to check them out...
