I used to love Fugazzi. They had amazing, tasty pizzas, that were made with care. The Cesar salad and the dessert options were very good as well.
Then, pizzas we have ordered have progressively decreased in quality, with missing ingredients, sometimes entire pizzas and entire add-ons.
Nowadays, they are bland, lacking taste. Even the dough has lost taste.
Today, our order was mixed up, and we had a Margherita that came with dry basil leave crumbs instead of fresh ones?
For instance, their Cesar salad was originally made with crispy shredded red cabbage (or even radicchio), real parmesan, croutons, a slice of prosciutto. Today, we received kale leaves with a few cheese and bacon crumbles. Even their sauce has changed for the worse.
It is almost like their old chef is missing in action.
And, of course, their prices increased by double digit percentages!
I am sad because this would be the first pizza restaurant would come to mind when ordering at home or with friends on a night out.
There was a time that the pizzas we had delivered to us would really look like their beautiful ad-like pizza photos.

Read moreIs there a lower star choice in the constellation of Mile End pizzerias? I give no star! We just ordered their "table dhôte for 2" Wow, Forgive me but really terrible food. The "caesar salad" was literally coleslaw with some toasted stale bread cubes... The Gaspacho soup was like water diluted pizza sauce... The two pizzas both were soggy topping on soggy undercooked dough, slightly larger than 10"' They were similar in texture to my dishrag after wiping up my kitchen. I had to try it, it's close by And was busy. Honestly, a Coney Island trash can. I have zero connections to any business in Mile End ,I live here and the real pizza in this hood is St. Viateur Pizza on Bernard corner Clark, or Villeneuve Pizza on Bernard. We are sitting here waiting for the...
Read moreSeeing the negative comments about the dough is sad because this is a Neapolitan style pizza- so it is actually NOT supposed be very crunchy nor thick. It is supposed to be softish (limp) in the middle. The dough is chewy and I love the char.
We’ve been ordering very often from fugazzi since we moved to Montreal in may 2021. Always consistently good. The mushroom pizza is my favourite! I drizzle some honey on it and omg! We’ve tried many of their pizzas and they’re all pretty good. $9 margarita pizza is a good deal. Our favourites are mush pit, killa bee and one night in Paris (we add calabrese to this one).
Keep up the great work and thanks to all the staff for the...
