Kennedy Poulet Frit & Pizza — Restaurant in Montreal

I tried their Quebecois and Mexican pizzas and those were pretty enjoyable. One thing I especially liked was that the pizzas were not greasy. Both were great on the flavor, right texture, good dough. Hard to describe, but it does the "classic pizza" taste pretty well. The prices are not like 2-for-1 pizza places, despite the food being on par; however, it's still cheaper than even some 2-for-1 spots I've been to.

I also like their cheeseburger and poutine (they don't use cheddar cheese on the burger, for what it's worth, though). Good portions and the right taste without too much salt or oil. There's also the steamed hot dog, but the buns are just fresh/raw and not toasted or steamed as well.

The steak sub is also pretty good. Nothing outstanding, but I still like it. It's like, buy it when you're hungry, you'll be happy and can get it again next time. One thing I'm a bit disappointed in, however, is that they apparently used to do the pizza dough style bread for the subs. Not anymore, it's just regular sub bread. So I couldn't see how that was.

Also, one of the guys who takes your order when you call in, he's really nice. Give him all the specifics about add this, replace this, etc. and he'll do it all very precisely. So, that...

The food is really good and the delivery guy was nice and it was delivered quickly. I would recommend not ordering on the website though cause there seems to have been a bug or mistake. The website told me that it was canceled cause they could not process the order and that it was refunded, which was what I was also seeing on my bank account. But the delivery guy still showed up. I paid on the machine at the door and he told me that they had a new person, which is probably why it didn't work. I'm still giving 5 stars cause it's super tasty pizza like I was eating with my Dad 20 something years ago, and the pizza store we used to order from closed during the pandemic. So I'll order again :)

I also started reading the reviews after posting mine and I would like to point out that most of the negative reviews didn't order any food and are complaining about the promotional pamphlets, which are not ''publisacs'' which is what your little stickers are for, if you didn't know. Getting offended about a piece of paper is a bit excessive and I think a lot of the other reviews are in fact motivated by racism. I'm dissapointed in the overall responses in these ratings as I truly believe they are...

I ordered from this restaurant, I live five minutes away, and it took two hours to get here. By the time it arrived, my pizza was freezing cold. My mac & cheese tasted horrible, and my hotdog was completely the wrong order. I was given a different size mac & cheese, and charged more for it, when I called the store to complain I was very nice about it and the man told me that he would be right back and left me on the phone. When I called back, he told me he was very busy and got angry and asked me what I wanted , he told me he would send another hotdog and I asked for more compensation.
