PFK — Restaurant in Montreal

Order online and half an hour later..it's not always ready for pickup. You arrive..cashier is on the phone hiding in the corner speaking in some indian language, as the line piles up with no service. Twice in a row i was supposed to get dipping sauce with my order, but they had only ranch..online it showed bbq, honey mustard and plum..they told me canada had a shortage of the others, it's not their fault lol. Today i ask for a packet of bbq sauce with an order that didn't include one..i'm told it's extra charge?! lol. Wow...i can get any simple packet or two of mustard, vinegar, ketchup, honey, mayo without a question..here they now want to charge me for a simple packet of bbq sauce? Whatever..not to mention it seems these guests of our province, can't serve you in french either...they can't understand a word...interesting, since it seems to be a simple requirement in Quebec! Not to mention, this restaurant continued to charge the tax when it was supposed to be suspended earlier this year for a few weeks....when i pointed it out to the skinny nidian girl with glasses who seems to be in charge on some nights..she said no..it's not being charged and pulled out recent receipts from the day...i pointed to all of them she showed me and it clearly showed they were charging the tax that was supposed to be suspended at all restaurants lol. She acted all suprrpised and said ohhh..i'll contact the head office lol. This was over a month after this tax was stopped..so they overcharged everyone the whole time! Coincidentally, it was this same girl who wanted to charge me for a pack of bbq sauce lol. many more restaurants to go to...this must be the same family that owns the 3 chain restaurants in the mall..oddly...dominos, tim hortons and kfc are all east-indian owned and no one speaks french at either establishment! Same poor...

The person at the counter told me the machine wasn't working and asked if I have cash, when I told her that I don't carry cash she said she will try the machine. When she brought up the machine it was online and functional. She didn't even give me my receipt and gaslit me when I told her my order was incomplete

The food is good and the place is really clean.

Edit to 1 star 3months later: I had 2 more unpleasant encounters there again and i can't even avoid them coz my son loves chicken. 1st- i ordered for "eat in" the total was about 40$, when the zinger sandwich came the sauce in it was Mayo, I went to the counter and the server spoke to the cook and they said there's no zinger sauce (my diet is mainly spicy food) they said there was a spicy sauce, i opted for that, the sandwich came and it was dry like clay, i took it to the counter and told them that the sandwich was dry and probably used the same chicken patty and heated it so the Mayo wouldn't show. I asked them to trash it because I did take a bite off it the second time. It was a matter of principle. 2nd- I bought chicken tenders for my son and 2 pieces for myself, I paid extra for it to only be white meat. The chicken wasn't cooked, just warmed up, the wing still had raw batter in the folds and the tenders were the tinnyiest and driest. I had stopped eating at KFC for a looong time now, because it wasn't as good as it used to be (like in the 90's). This KFC opened not too long ago and I thought that I should give it a try, just for once. Well, let me tell you that I have been ordering twice a week now since the opening. I even told the manager that their chicken reminds me of Chik-fil-A which is a restaurant chain in the states. IT'S THAT GOOD! The meat is so tender and juicy and the crisp is awesome.
