Breakfast to die for! My wife and I had a very hearty and decadent breakfast at L'Oeufrier. We brought our daughter with us and we were quickly seated and a baby chair was brought over for us. Coffee was quickly poured and were were given some time to look over the extensive mouth watering menu. I ended up choosing the "La yves joue aux gros bras à vimont" that includes chorizo, Italian sausage, pork and beef sausages, bacon, ham and bologna. All on a bed of hash browns, topped with cheese curds, hollandaise sauce, shallots and 2 eggs on top. My wife opted for the slightly more healthy "Béné Joe végé" with peppers, onions, mushrooms, spinach, asparagus, tomatoes, goat cheese, a mound of half mashed potatoes, home fries and a bowl of fruit on the side. We both ate as much as we could and enjoyed every bite. We didn't bother with lunch that day. With so much food we were easily able to share with our daughter and she had a wonderful breakfast too. Our service was great and everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. I look forward to a...

As tourists, we are still getting used to the tip culture and sometimes what is normal for Canadians is different for other nationalities.
After being quickly served with a normal service, we ate an expensive but well prepared meal. When the bill arrived, I paid with credit card and left no tip.
However, my girlfriend paid her $17 meal with a $20 bill. The waitress weirdly asked if she would need the change. This is an unusual question for us and we felt uncomfortable to say we actually wanted the change. She gave us the three dollars and, when my girlfriend felt bad and offered her the change, she harshly said that she didn’t want because that was too cheap for her service.
This situation was tremendously uncomfortable and we felt very disrespected. After the misunderstanding, she mistreated us because that money was indeed necessary for us.
Food ok, but service terrible after...
Read moreLiterally the worst breakfast place in Hochelaga. Every time I try to give a second chance it's more disappointing than the last. The food is cold in the restaurant and when I ordered on Uber eats today the food was even colder. Even my sausages were super cold. I got a waffle with "creme anglaise" which is more like water than anything. Not close to a creme or custard. The strawberries were clearly not good to serve (as pictured). Super mushy. Someone put these fruits on a plate and said this is worth 20$ plus tax.
Given how many breakfast places are in the area it's a total rip off and honestly insulting to their clientele. I've been to other oeufrier and it's never like this. Just my luck this one is in my...
