Le Platana — Restaurant in Montreal

I ordered half a chicken and 2 foufou costed me 48 dollars on uber eats. They took forever to get the order sent and did not even include the foufou. I called the restaurant ans they said "we dont so extras". Mind you, I was charged for each foufou and they saw the order and still accepted it and sent it with half the order missing. Not a single care literally a scam. How am i supposed to eat the chicken? With my feet? They could have cancwled the order, they could have removed the items they dont provide from the bill, they could have called me to provide alternative items. Nothing. Just accept, take my money and dont provide service. Of course, i still tried to eat the chicken. Chicken was dry, and cold. Sauce was like flavoreless tomato sauce topped with a bunch of raw onions. Literally a culinary catastrophe. The plantain were even under cooked and came with the same watery tomato based sauce. Literally...

I was happy to find a Ivorian place where one can actually sit and eat. The owner and main waitress were kind to us and my family. I encourage them to continue their hustle. I just have a few things to note for improvement: food: the chicken and meat were very dry and we had to ask for tomato sauce many times to compensate the dryness service: we received no utensils on the table and there were no paper towels/ napkins neither (which we had to ask many times) hygiene: the bathrooms were not clean at all :(. That was a turn off for me If the above is addressed, I think this place will have longevity and I'll be happy to return and support when I'm in Montreal! Good...

We came in a group of 4 and ordered one plate, We waited 1 hour and 30 Minutes before leaving being told countless times “10 more minutes” and after attending EVERYONE else including people who got there 30 Minutes after us. We were served canned pina colada. Seriously we are all disappointed even the server came and said “you’re still waiting?!” And rushed to the kitchen and still 20 minutes later.. nothing. Not even a water refill, not even an apology, no utensils. I was really hungry but my last straw was the server serving the table next to us who came thirty minutes later and smiling and laughing saying “2 more minutes” we all got...
