First as we walked into this restaurant the smell of the place was very disturbing but we still gave it a chance since we had already drove 30min to get there. The server was so quick to ask us if we were ready to order, we didn’t even had the time to check half of their menu. We watched our dishes on the kitchen counter for at least 10min before the waiter served them at our table. So The food arrived cold obviously! So frustrating because the waiter was in no rush at all since there wasn’t many clients. My man had to ask for his plate to be redone because it was so cold! The food wasn’t good at all I had waffles which were super thin n cold … also we waited 30min after our plates were finished before we got our bill which we had to ask for.. honestly 1 star is to much given for this mediocre breakfast place the worse we’ve been and I’ll never recommend this to anyone, please do urself a favour and skip this place. I was very disappointed as I had tried the other place on Villeray which was very good I thought they would be on the same level but sad truth is that its very lame there. Read moreAs someone who has worked in service, it takes a lot for me to be frustrated with servers, but three times in a row here the service has been exceptionally bad. When it's very busy, it's understandable that it will be slow, but it has never been at full capacity when I've been there...it's just been obvious that they're having a hard time managing it. I got a hot chocolate that was visibly missing any chocolate (was just steamed milk), it took a about 15 minutes to have our orders taken, and then about 20 minutes of us being visibly finished our meals to get our bills, and we had to ask twice. Earnest constructive criticism: if you're routinely overwhelmed even when the restaurant is not full to capacity, it might be a good indication that rethinking/strategizing about the service will help both the customers AND the servers enjoy their experience more (bad service stinks, but being an overwhelmed server is worse!) Read moreWent in and asked for an Americano for take out, guy still asks me if I want a filter coffee. I repeated I want an Americano. He goes on to pour me a filter coffee. I tell him pointing to the coffee, that is a filter coffee. He then asks me oh you want espresso? I said I want an Americano which is espresso with hot water. He pours me a double espresso and hands me the cup. At this point I didn’t want to argue further and proceeded to ask him for the bill. He puts the total amount on the POS machine and as I proceed to tap my card he takes back the machine and adds a tip without even asking me. I tap the card anyway. I asked him for a copy of the receipt since I was not sure how much he charged and that’s when I saw the extra amount.
