I went there with a friend on a Friday evening. We had a couple of beers each. I had the burger, and my friend had mac & cheese. Waiters were nice. Didn't attempt to start any type of conversation, while I was waiting for my friend for 15 minutes, which could have been nice, since I was alone at the bar, and there were not many people in the place. My burger was ok. Beef and cheese was good. Square burger bun was nothing special. It was served with regular potato chips and cabbage salad. I would have preferred some oven roasted potatoes with a nice dip instead of the potato chips. The burger was served on a metal dish with with paper on top. While eating my burger the paper started disintegrating because of the sauce from the burger, so I started getting pieces of paper in my teeth together with the burger, which was not very pleasant. The beers were good, and the people behind the bar offered tasting before purchasing, which was great. According to my friend his mac'n cheese was "correc", which is Québécois for ok.
All in all - good beers at fair prices, nice but not personal staff, so so food. I will be going back for beers, but I will eat...
Read moreI recently visited Rosie Le Temps d'une Pinte and had a mixed experience. I tried their Rosie (Sure aux fruits du Qc et tropicaux) beer, which had an ABV of 3.8%, and I must say it was absolutely delicious. The fruity Quebec and tropical flavors blended perfectly, leaving a satisfying taste on my palate.
However, I also decided to give their 3-Torréfacteur (Dry stout en creamer) beer a try, which had a higher ABV of 5.5%. Unfortunately, I found this particular beer disappointing and couldn't bring myself to finish it. The flavor profile didn't appeal to me, and it fell short of my expectations.
On a positive note, the service at Rosie Le Temps d'une Pinte was excellent. The waitress was incredibly attentive and friendly, making me feel welcomed and well taken care of...
Read moreCute place, has a back patio that is cozy and decorated nicely. This was our first dining experience in Montréal so we were unaware teens couldn’t sit inside. They were very sweet about it. It gave us the chance to learn more about which types of places kids could eat inside and be mindful moving forward. Service was super friendly and attentive. Food was great just wasn’t the best bar food, but portions were large and my family were all pleased. We got nachos, salad, Mac n cheese (this looked bomb but my son scarfed it all so didn’t try it). Salad looked and was a basic Caesar. My nachos were ok but burnt and not many veggies on it. Overall would recommend especially for...
