I had coupons delivered in the mail and I was with a nephew and we were running in a late morning and we were both hungry so we took the line of least resistance and I haven't had a McDonald's in quite a long time. I figured what the heck. We tried the one on St Jacques and for the life of me I don't know why they couldn't produce a simple receipt which is Quebec law requirement that they all give receipts at fast food windows automatically but they seem not to most of the time at least not at Tim Hortons and certainly this McDonald told me to pull over to the side they'd bring us the receipt and we waited well over 10 minutes till I backed up into the food pick up window from where we were waiting and still it took another few minutes. That's pretty shabby. As far as the food quality went, I now remember why I'm not a big fan of McDonald's any longer. In chemistry sorry in biology 101 they teach you the formula that goes into making a McDonald's burger are they used to, and it's definitely not appetizing to find out what parts of the cow they use. The service that the windows was quick but taking a receipt took almost 15 minutes and the food quality was not quite food as we know it. I'm a sucker for a coupon but I want to...
Read moreThe service wasn't bad, but the clerk couldn't speak French at all. Since my sister, who was giving the order, barely speaks basic English, it was very difficult for the clerk to understand the order.
In short, my sister wanted fries, so the clerk gave her a Sprite. Before paying, she even repeated the order to the clerk, to make sure they understood, and the clerk said they did and made my sister pay. Clearly, they hadn't heard correctly.
Luckily, I was the heroine of the hour (yes, I'm tapping myself on the back) and clarified the situation with the clerk. But if I hadn't been there, who knows how long those two would've taken to actually hear each other?
I get that we're a city of many languages, so I don't blame the clerk (they really did their best so I'd actually like to thank them for their patience), but the restaurant should have measures against mistakes like these. It's not the first time that this sort of thing has happened to me at a Maccas and it saddens me every time.
Thank you...
Read moreThis is the worst McDonald's I ever have visited. I usually visit it on evenings of Friday, Saturday or Sunday. And this is the fourth time in a month they screwed up my order. Fries and Hashbrowns were dead cold and soggy. I ordered Angus guacamole one time with additional sauce in it and with extra egg, and when I checked, it had no egg and no sauce. Also the bun was different than shown in the picture at the Kiosk. The other day I ordered Mighty angus without meat but with chicken instead and when I received it, it had meat in it. And this things keep happening everytime. The floor managers in the evening seems either fool or careless as they are always talking among themselves and never care about the big cue of people waiting for orders. The Manager in kitchen always makes wrong orders. I would recommend not to go there in the evening specially on weekends otherwise you will end up with...
