Mr. Puffs — Restaurant in Montreal

The first time I went to Mr. Puffs I was very impressed with the service of the guys that work there. The atmosphere was vibrant and they were friendly & efficient. I received warm fresh puff balls layered with biscotti / chocolate. They were delicious. That day, it was quite busy but one of the guys cooking the batter threw the puff balls out that were already cooked & made a fresh set. It's nice to know that they care about product/customer service. I would give them a 10.

Yesterday, there was a snow storm. No customers for miles. I was served the balls that were sitting there. I didn't realize until I arrived home that they weren't fresh but 2 of my friends whom I bought a box for also commented on the taste . The girl who served me gave me some old puff balls minus the chocolate & biscotti. Poor service. Almost $25 , not worth it unless you can enjoy it. I guess we are just spoiled since we tasted those first delicious puffs.

Lesson : don't go during a snow storm especially if...

really young staff was all messing up distracted with airpods in not working together got slammed with a rush of walk ins and uber clients and they started to mess my order up soooo bad to tyhe point I got so annoyed with them i had to literally say u know what forget it keep my money I'm just gonna leave. Was over $40 and the cashier was stunned and could not comprehend why I was walking away. I wanted to make a point that u guys are THAT BAD. It's hard to get people who know how to work and have the ethic and motivation to actually want to work in this industry and for that reason I am fiving one extra star...But fact remains service was bad enough for me to walk and not even bother to ask...

I came in the store to order 50 puffs and received cold ones. I politely requested if they can make a fresh batch. One employee was quick to fulfill my respectful request, until we were interrupted by another. This employee started arguing with me and insulting me by claiming the puffs were not cold and that I was lying, they kept arguing and raising their voice in front of other customers insisting that I am wasting them money(flour and sugar...) Bad experience at this location, will not be...
