Stepping into Noam, Montreal's latest kosher dining spot, you're immediately struck by its elevated diner vibe. Nestled right on Decarie, it’s got this mix of casual meets sophisticated—a welcoming, bustling energy that draws you in. On our first visit, we decided to go all in with the Noam Specials.
We started with the Fried Zucchini Tower, and let me tell you, it's exactly what you want in a starter: crispy, light, and bursting with flavor. Next up were the fish tacos, and they didn’t disappoint. Fresh, perfectly seasoned, with just the right amount of crunch—it's clear they’ve nailed the art of the taco here. But the real star for me was the Basil Pistachio Pasta. It was a surprising and delightful twist, creamy yet light, with the pistachio adding an unexpected depth of flavor.
To round off the meal, we couldn’t resist trying the homemade tiramisu. It was a perfect ending—rich, creamy, and not overly sweet, just the way tiramisu should be.
Now, service is a big deal for me, and Noam absolutely nailed it. Despite the place being packed, the staff was on top of everything. They were constantly refilling our water glasses (a small but essential detail in my book) and clearing dishes quickly. It’s these little things that make you feel taken care of. Plus, the food arrived promptly, which isn’t always the case in a busy restaurant.
Overall, Noam brings a fresh, exciting option to the Montreal kosher scene. It’s not just about the food—it’s the whole experience. Looking forward to seeing how they continue to evolve...
Read moreThis new restaurant was how do you say in French, extraordinaire. Walking in was an experience on its own with all of its music and intense, exciting atmosphere that just increased throughout the night and didn’t stop there when I left Nöam I left with no regret knowing that Montreal's dire for a new restaurant had been met and than some. Starting with the service, there were about 7 different people who were prepared to help with our every need. A couple people pouring water, a couple bringing us our food, and of course the manger who was so nice coming over to our table multiple times to make sure our Noam experience was perfect. Last but certainly not least the food. I’ve been to many restaurants in New Jersey New York City but I have never been to a restaurant like this. I would say that I had the best fettuccine Alfredo that I’ve ever put in my mouth. They do it the European style with just butter, Parmesan, salt and pepper and on top of that they make their own homemade noodles. It was perfect. I also ordered the fish tacos and the French onion soup which blew my mind. I’ve had fish tacos and onion soup, but not quite like this. None with such effort and flavor as these dishes had. I would strongly suggest Nöam if you are visiting in from out of town or if you are a Montreal resident. It will blow your mind just like...
Read moreI came to this lovely kosher “Italian” restaurant to celebrate my father’s birthday. As you walk in, you can feel a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is incredibly kind and friendly. Fun music but not too loud. We had reservations because it was during Hanukkah so it gets quite crowded. The manager Nathaniel was extremely nice and patient with us, considering how my father was acting difficult and demanding. The appetizers and food came out really fast. I loved the fried zucchini: crispy and savoury but not too salty. The sweet potato fries and cesar salad were good too. All the pasta were al dente and flavourful. They offer 2 types of pasta: either penne or spaghetti. We tried the Alla Vodka,Saffron and lemon and the Funghi Tartuffo. The Funghi Tartuffo lacked truffle oil but it was satisfying. The Margarita pizza was delicious. This place is a great place to celebrate birthdays because the entire staff comes to the table with a mini pastry with a fountain sparkler and the vibe is great. I highly recommend...
