Tasty Food Pizza — Restaurant in Montreal

Horrible place. I order take out - a burger and a Greek salad. The burger comes with only 1/2 a bun and the Greek salad is without salad dressing. When I call to ask why, a server there tells me the bun is being grilled on the grill. Unbelievable. The server tells me I can have a free burger next time and a free salad dressing. But, then "BOB" the owner gets on the phone and WOW, is he a piece of work. BOB yells at me, berates me and tells me that there is salad dressing there because he put it there himself (even though the staff member admitted they forgot it). And after all of this, the burger was undercooked, tasted revolting and gave me an upset stomach. Their pizza (which they pride themselves on) has been drippy and soggy, with the bottom grossly burnt the last two times I ordered. Never going back to this place again. The quality is sub-par and I got sick from their overpriced food. And their service is abominable. BOB finally did offer 25% off my next burger, but considering this one was rotten and may have given me e.coli poisoning, I'm not going back, not even if it were free (which it won't be because BOB is a mean cheapskate). What a collosal disappointment. My entire family have been loyal customers for more than 45 years. Tonight was a horrible experience. Ordered a chef salad, pizza and spaghetti. Salad was passable at most. Pizza was undercooked compared to how it used to be. Usually the peperoni is crispy. Not today. After waiting for what seemed like an eternity, my pizza now cold, I finally got up, walked to the cash only to witness the kitchen staff of 4 sitting in the back eating and they and the waitress had forgotten our spaghetti. I canceled the spaghetti. Let them know they should be ashamed, paid for what we ate and left. Too bad. There goes another...

I have been eating “Tasty’s” for over 50 years now ….. AMAZING pizza that has basically not changed taste in all that time. Yes a bit smaller, yes a bit pricey, but when you bite into one, all your problems magically disappear! Comfort food for sure. I started going there by bicycle when I was a kid … great memories. I like other pizzas as well, but something special everytime I head out to pick up Tasty’s. Their Chef salad is also great. I chuckle at the comments about “dipping sauce”.
