A big wow! to Leyleys Trendsetter Salad Kosher Salad Bar at Décarie Square. I recently visited LeyLey's Trendy Salad Bar, and it was a delightful experience! This bistro primarily features a salad bar, but their menu extends to include breakfast and lunch options as well. From sandwiches and wraps to their signature poke bowl meals and desserts, LeyLey's sitdown restaurant (40 ppl max) has a wide array of offerings to satisfy your cravings. During my visit, I tried the Caprese ciabatta sandwich and a cappuccino. The cappuccino had a thick, creamy layer with a lovely chocolate presentation. The ciabatta bread was wonderfully fresh, and the mozzarella cheese was perfectly melted. The basil pesto spread added a delightful flavor, and the tomato had just the right firmness. What set this meal apart was the "coulis" dip of cilantro and lime – a special touch that I savored until the very last drop. Presentation-wise, it was spot on. If you're in Montreal and looking for a quick bistro bite, especially with Rosh Hashanah around the corner, LeyLey's Kitch is a great choice. It's conveniently located not too far from downtown, and the atmosphere is enhanced by cool Israeli beats. Vanessa, our attendant, was vibrant and presented herself nicely. However, one area that could use improvement is staffing. During busy lunch rushes, it can get a bit overwhelming. The presence of Latin, Moroccan, and Caribbean personnel is interesting, but they might benefit from being more engaging and helpful, especially when handling Uber orders. Overall, LeyLey's Kitch is a must-visit for its delicious food, great atmosphere, and potential for even better service during peak hours.

Great little hidden bistro inside Decarie square. I had the "Meltzer" sandwich with jalapēno jam. It was good, however, was pre-made and tasted pre-made. I think freshly made sandwiches would be a major upgrade. Also, this bistro uses a commercial size Nespresso machine with pods, and although it does produce good coffee beverages; I think an authentic espresso machine with real coffee beans could make their drinks much better! Nonetheless, very clean bistro with reasonable prices.

One of the worst coffees I've had in a while. I thought I'd grab a spring roll veggie wrap, only let you buy 2, 20$ for 2, wraps are beyond basic and may be the worst ones ive ever had. Place is made to scam the old people waiting at the clinics in this building with the patients visible with masks on behind the kitchen with an open door waiting at the adjoining clinic. Honestly, crazily overpriced and disappointing no idea what these reviewers saw in this place.

Updated September 4, 2024 They updated their prices. The breakfast used to be $36 for 2 people, it’s now $46 for 2 people. The menu still says $36. New staff are not as friendly.

Incredible ambience. Amazing food and really great service. The owner takes pride in his establishment and it shows. There menu is constantly changing and you never know what delicacy you will find.

I gave the rating 4 stars because of their lack of vegan and gluten free options and no effort has been made as of yet, to have options. This is very important to me.

Updated January 17 2023 It’s now under new ownership and it’s fantastic. We opted for the Boker in the Shuk. It was beautifully presented and very tasty. They had hot almond milk for my coffee, which makes me very happy. The ambience is great and I highly recommend. It just so happens to be...

Ordered a cappucino, got a macchiato and when I said to the owner that this is not what I wanted, she gave me attitute and finally replaced it. This is not even the worst thing - it took 35 minutes just to get some acai and tropical bowls, something that shouldn't take longer than 10 minutes, and they arrived 10 minutes after each other, leaving me to wait for my friend to get her dish. This whole thing was accompanied by non-stop attitute from the owner, I have received bad service in the past, but this by far was the WORST. Will definitely not return...
