Deli 770 — Restaurant in Montreal

THIS IS MY HONEST REVIEWThe night before passover, I decided to go to Deli 770 to have a good sandwich before we need to stop eating bread. I have been eating at deli 770 for 2 years now and every time the service was incredible and food was delicious, WELL NOT THIS TIME. They recently changed owners and i have not been there since the switch. Me and my bf always get the same order it's a sandwich they have on the menu, with an extra piece of hamburger to make it real special! by adding this hamburger piece the old owner used to charge us 2$ extra each sandwich, and for us it was noo problem because it was totally worth it! SO today we go in and ask for just that (what we always get) and the NEW owner was sitting down and asked us what we wanted, we then explained our order and he told us it was not possible and that we would have to pay extra 5$ for the burger piece.... we then were trying to decide what to get. and he said WE CANNOT CHANGE WHAT'S ON THE MENU JUST FOR YOU.. IF UR NOT HAPPY GET SOMETHING ELSE. Rude. Then he calls over one employee and says "hey these people don't want to pay the 5$ extra... are you willing to give it to them out of your paycheck??" ...... EXTREMELY RUDE. He then rushed us to decide. The problem isn't the 5$ the problem is the disrespect. We have been extreme loyal customers for the last 2 years .... and a simple, "sorry that's just not possible tonight" would have been totally fine... but for one jew to treat another jew with total disrespect is not cool with me. I WILL NOT GO BACK. I WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE. WE AS A JEWISH COMMUNITY NEED TO RESPECT EACH OTHER. THE OWNER WAS HORRIBLE TO US ..... (AS POLITELY AS I CAN SAY THAT). I recently visited Deli770, a sandwich restaurant located in Montreal, and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed. I went to many Kosher restaurants in Montreal. From all the places this is by far my most favorite place to go to. First they do make the best Sandwiches in Montreal. Once you find the Sandwich you like you are simply hooked. The owners of this place a very friendly, they will really go out of their way to make sure you are happy. I remember one time at lunch time the owner was super busy. Once my turn come up he serve me and he took his time to explain me all the options, never rushed me and was super polite and friendly. He probably did not even noticed any of it, but I did. They really treat you like a friend rather than a random customer.

Last night we had a "guys night out" and we went out for dinner in Deli 770. It was simply a load of fun there. Great food, great environment. Everyone there is so friendly. We even got to meet people we did not see in a long time. The owner was very accommodating and we got free tea for everyone.

The price is very affordable for the great quality you get in return. if you are Kosher or not, you should check...
