Horrible place in my opinion.

Most of the employees do not know where their products are. Most of them are completely unreliable. When you are at the cashier you are often completely ignored by the employees that are instead talking to their colleagues instead of greeting you. When you want to get served in french it is difficult and sometimes it is even hard to be served in english altogether.

There are produce that I simply avoid because they are simply never fresh or do not stay fresh for more than 24h. For example, the grapes are never fresh and firm when you buy them, they are often already moldy and if they are not moldy when you buy them, they become so within 24h.

The price are often off and very often you can't find the product that is in sale. I feel like they trick you to buy a product that is alike because you will think it is the actual product in sale. For example, a family pack of chicken legs might be in sale in the flyer, however often during that week they will only have regular packs of chicken legs and won't merge two together to make a family pack so you can get the sale.

If you can avoid it I simply recommend avoiding this place. There is a market on the corner of Jean-Brillant and Côte-des-Neiges street that sells fresher and cheaper products from April to November if you want a great...

Get out of the store! Go back in your car and drive a few km to the IGA on Mountain Sights and Decarie (or to Maxi on Cote des Neiges, the new Metro on Van Horne/Wilderton or the Walmart on Decarie/Jean-Talon or better yet, save a ton and get a Costco Membership). The difference is eye-opening. This IGA is outdated and antiquated in all aspects and sense of the word. From the floors with primordial dust and mold fighting since the opening, ceilings holding on for dear life, and the mentality of the managers hard-gripped clutching on to their out-moded rule book from an abandoned library so so long ago. Managers that will fight you just so they won't give you something free when their prices are wrong, and this said, the highest prices paid. At a certain point it is really not the free stuff but the good experience with the personnel that will make you come back to a store, but when the cashier's manager lectures you on different price laws that applies for different kind of shelves...that is no longer customer service but rather a show in hand of how desperate and greedy old tactics this...

Great Kosher offering! Rather amazing prices and clean installations, kudos to the store personnel and management. Only problem... Too many people not socially distancing or fully and appropriately following mask ordinance, I'd like to reiterate that these are not normal times, we're facing some of the toughest trials in over a century, and I don't mean wars, but situations that imperil human life on the planet, from the pandemic to dramatic climate change situations like the relentless heat wave that engulfed BC and Alberta.

By doing our bit, following social distancing, properly masking, getting our vaccines, we'll be able to return to a more recognizable sense of normality, though make no mistake we will not see a return to "the good old days" those are gone.

So if you love your family and friends so the right thing and socially distance, mask, and get the vaccine, COVID-19 (B1.617.2) Delta, does not care about God, your believes, apparent health or race and gender.

At this IGA in particular people were extremely undisciplined. Remember we're not out of the woods...

I really like this store because it’s close to the metro and bus station, and there’s plenty of free parking around it. The store is always neat and tidy, and the staff are extremely friendly — every time I ask a question, they answer patiently, politely, and with genuine care👏🏻. Their cashiers are excellent, and the management clearly does a great job since everything is very well organized and efficient.👏🏻 However, sometimes I notice the fridge is leaking water, and there’s a strange smell near the milk section — I hope they fix that🫶🏻👻. Also, lately I’ve seen that they burn their croissants and pastries in the bakery section, which is really a pity 😢🥺. The hot food corner (where they make fried potatoes and chicken) doesn’t have great quality either.😿 Overall, though, I still visit this store frequently.😻

Manipulative pricing practices and lots of health code violations. Management only meets basic sanitation requirements when inspections are being conducted. Mold frequently growing on tofu packaging and shelves, but it’s unaddressed by management until CNESST’s visit (despite being brought up often by employees).

This is a typical Iga grocery store, but a little bit smaller then others. Parking most of the time is full, when is rush hours. They use compostable plastic bags, which is much more comfortable then paper bags. Staff is friendly. The place is clean. In overall it's a good grocery store. 🍊🍍🍓🍌🍎🍐🥔🍆🥑🥥🌶🫑🥐🍞🥖🍄🧄🧅🍗🍖🧀🥩
