I ordered a pizza for delivery with two vegetarian toppings and extra cheese. I had two slices, and put the rest in the fridge for the next day. A few hours later, I was woken up by the worst stomach pains and proceeded to be violently ill into the morning. Cut to an hour ago, when I went to the fridge to grab pizza for my partner, I noticed that there were pieces of pepperoni poking out. My two ordered toppings were clearly visible on top, but the pepperoni was sporadically placed and hidden completely under the cheese. In contrast, my partner’s separate pepperoni pizza from last night had very visible meat on top. I have been a vegetarian for 15 years. Even disregarding the emotional aspect of unknowingly consuming meat, it made me violently ill. When I called this morning, they told me there was nothing they could do because it was ordered last night. It’s been less than 12 hours. I asked that even if they couldn’t give me a refund, they at least let the staff know that this happened. They refused to do even that. This isn’t a matter of getting ten dollars back, it’s the fact that they won’t even so much as apologize or take any accountability for putting hidden meat on a vegetarian pizza, which caused me to be extremely sick, and distraught that I was fed something I have chosen not to consume for almost two decades. Attached are photos of the pizza where I’ve peeled cheese back to reveal the meat. Will definitely be boycotting Pizza Hut...
Read moreFirst off, Pointed out that the 5$ deal with pizza at regular price, was cheaper than the 15$ large and 10$ daily special. Most chain restaurants would give you what was ordered and that's it. So bonus points for saving me a couple of bucks.
Also, more importantly pizza hut pizza is pretty standard, like ordering at other chain restaurant. It's pretty consistant all over. Well... Pizza huts I've been to have all been sub par lately. From Ontario to a bunch in Montreal, I always have regretted it lately. This was not only the place that saved me some cash, but gave me the pizza hut reason to continue eating there. I was about to have one last sub par pizza and switch to the competition(which has always been eat there only when 50%off). If all other pizza huts could switch their oven timers to match here, as well as use fresher ingredients like this place, you'd get back the 90's and 00's profit you should have never lost to cardboard pizza competition(where the only edible pizza is the thin crust, and medium is barely enough to feed one person.
Congrats on saving a customer, and gaining 100s of $ by saving me a couple of bucks and showing me why we used to always order...
Read moreI'm a die-hard fan of Pizza Hut and this is my favorite store in Montreal/North Shore area. Never had any problem with this restaurant except maybe the rare occasional mistakes.
THE GOOD: -Pan pizzas are ALWAYS perfectly cooked, fluffy and generous with cheese. Give the staff some tips, they really deserve it! -Staff has always been nice. -Once the "Buy one, get 2 free" didn't work perfectly so the store manager used his personal code.
THE BAD: -Delivery takes a bit of time so the pizza is not perfectly warm, but it's much better than other stores. Better to use Take-Out instead. -Don't order the stuffed crust pizza, it needs to cook longer to melt the cheese in the crust so the rest of the pizza feels overcooked, but all Pizza Huts do that so that's a general rule in my opinion.
THE UGLY: None that I...
