I come to this location (Park Ave) because they follow Covid protocols. The Jean Talon location was disagreeable to me... (in May 2021) as I ordered i noticed the cook in the back did not have his mask on. I asked the young lady at the counter to ask him to place his mask on correctly. He pulled it up, BUT then came to the front counter pulled his mask down and spoke on his cell phone, while looking at me. Like he was asking me to confront him. I could not believe this. Made me very uncomfortable and unsafe. I left the store, called the main number to complain, person said he would contact the store and get back to me with a follow up. We are now December 2021, and no call. I did throw away the order, once I got home. And pretty glad I did, because for months... every time I walked by this restaurant, same cook is there and mask is still around his chin. You know, I get it... it's hot. Walk away from the food, get a drink, get some air... come back with governmental required mask in place ESPECIALLY when the customer is watching you. Not sure what it can take for me to return there at this point. The Park Ave location does much better... and this is why I go...
Read moreI had a very disappointing experience at this location. I was greeted by an extremely rude employee who added mayo to my sandwich, even though it wasn’t supposed to have it. When I questioned this, he explained he added it because I requested sauce on the side so he assumed mayo was necessary. When I declined the sandwich, he told me there was nothing he could do about it. After some back-and-forth arguments, the sandwich was remade, but instead of just removing the mayo, they also took out the banana peppers and pickles I had asked for and gave me just the burger.
I've visited this place many times before and always order sauce on the side, usually receiving a sealed container of sauce. This time, the employee gave me less than half the amount of sauce and just tossed it in the bag in an unsealed container, which caused the sauce to leak all over my entire order. Read moreI witnessed multiple times that they use all sorts of tactics to jack up the price of pizzas that would otherwise be supposed to have no ‘extras’ charged. I probably ordered 10 times the same order and it ALWAYS come at different prices / with a different tactic (I am not even talking about the inflation). They also charge extras for free stuff that are clearly written right in front of our eyes that they should ”come at no extra cost”. When we dare pointing it out, they either act like you’re crazy and a nuisance and don’t even want to serve you anymore, or they switch to play the ‘I don’t speak any English nor French’ card followed by awkward silences (it’s always been impossible to get any service in French in any PP location anyway). I have seen the manager at work and it seems to be a scam culture that is deeply rooted there, as well as in the very higher spheres of the company.
