Absolutely disappointing and inedible. I recently had the pleasure of visiting Sofia restaurant at Dix30 on Saturday for my first time. I ordered this exact meal and it was absolutely amazing with fresh ingredients. I was craving it again and decided to try your location. I was enraged after expecting to be delivered the quality of food I ate Saturday at Sofia dix30. Pasta reheated and burnt from microwave. Sauce was not creamy, actually there was no creaminess to be found. The skid mark spatch of curdled buratta was dry and had the consistency of gum. The “sauce” if you could call it that was oil that I’m assuming was left over from the failed attempt at sautéing the stale mushrooms. I spent 50$ in total between the meal it’s self delivery fees, tax and tip. It was a crying shame. There is no way this Sofia restaurant is the same chain as the one in Dix30. I’ve never been so angry about a delivery order in my life.

Although the food tastes decent, the prices are a bit elevated for the portion; 28$ for the spaghetti, 12$ for the broccolini, 9$ for the Cannoli and 6$ for the Tiramisu. The cannoli and the broccolini were great, flavourful and had great texture. The spaghetti and the meatball on the other hand were too soft. The texture didn't feel that great for me. I don't know if it is because it was overcooked or because it was steamed during the delivery trip, but the mouthfeel wasn't satisfying. I really appreciate their presentation. Along with the great smell upon opening the boxes, it makes the food much more appetizing.

Pizzeria Sofia à Montréal propose une belle expérience de pizza artisanale à emporter, et on sent l’amour de la tradition italienne dans chaque boîte. Nous avons goûté trois variétés différentes : une quatre fromages, une charcuterie généreusement garnie, et une avec chorizo, poivrons rouges et olives noires. Chaque pizza avait une pâte fine, bien cuite au four, avec ce petit côté légèrement brûlé qui rappelle les vraies pizzérias napolitaines. La pizza quatre fromages était fondante, bien équilibrée sans être trop salée, parfaite pour les amateurs de fromage. La charcuterie était copieuse et savoureuse, bien relevée. La troisième avait un bel équilibre entre les ingrédients, avec une sauce tomate bien assaisonnée et un bon goût fumé du chorizo. Petit bémol : certaines croûtes étaient un peu trop noircies, ce qui peut ne pas plaire à tout le monde. Mais cela reste un détail mineur dans une expérience globalement très réussie. Une excellente adresse pour des pizzas de qualité à Montréal, à déguster chez soi avec plaisir. On reviendra volontiers lors de notre prochaine visite au Canada , tester d’autres saveurs !
