Pizzeria Sofia 2 Go — Restaurant in Montreal

Absolutely disappointing and inedible. I recently had the pleasure of visiting Sofia restaurant at Dix30 on Saturday for my first time. I ordered this exact meal and it was absolutely amazing with fresh ingredients. I was craving it again and decided to try your location. I was enraged after expecting to be delivered the quality of food I ate Saturday at Sofia dix30. Pasta reheated and burnt from microwave. Sauce was not creamy, actually there was no creaminess to be found. The skid mark spatch of curdled buratta was dry and had the consistency of gum. The “sauce” if you could call it that was oil that I’m assuming was left over from the failed attempt at sautéing the stale mushrooms. I spent 50$ in total between the meal it’s self delivery fees, tax and tip. It was a crying shame. There is no way this Sofia restaurant is the same chain as the one in Dix30. Although the food tastes decent, the prices are a bit elevated for the portion; 28$ for the spaghetti, 12$ for the broccolini, 9$ for the Cannoli and 6$ for the Tiramisu. The cannoli and the broccolini were great, flavourful and had great texture. The spaghetti and the meatball on the other hand were too soft. The texture didn't feel that great for me. I don't know if it is because it was overcooked or because it was steamed during the delivery trip, but the mouthfeel wasn't satisfying. I really appreciate their presentation. A friend of mine told me I should try this place, it did not disappoint. Everything from food to price and service exceeded my expectations. The portion of pasta was huge, I couldn’t finish it and took some home for my lunch the next day. I could not believe how inexpensive it was. Would have cost me more in a fast food restaurant and here I am getting top quality.
