Honestly I would have given it a higher rating but I had to practically beg for a salad because the macaroni was out this world salty. It was like deep sea diving in the salt water ocean. The hostess was amazing she was very helpful and I'm sorry she had to deal with the backlash of trying to right the wrong. Let's get into my poutine, I ordered the Quebecois poutine not translating what type of poutine it was because this menu is full blown French and was surprised when I seen the hotdogs on it. It tastes really really good and it was hot and fresh. I also order the mini burger trio with the mac and cheese and honestly I could have done with out that order nothing special about the burgers and we already know how I felt about the mac and cheese. After going back and forth with one of the chef's on an overwhelming evening I finally got a basic salad and that was delicious. I had to send my order back twice before anything was done about it because he was so busy. Still not an excuse for your customer who drove literally for hours to drive...
Read moreOk I know this place is obviously supposed to be known for poutine, but I just wasn't feeling it at the time. Went for the wings instead and I kinda wish I was in the mood for poutine. I'm just not one for too many crazy topping on my poutine personally. They weren't terrible but what ruined them is they weren't sauces and tossed. Sauces came on the side which never hits the same. We need to address the location and vibe of this place though cuz man it is bizarre- not totally in a bad way though. Squeezed away with a narrow parking lot by the freeway, one would expect a dirty little corner pizza-chicken like spot. But this place is actually quite clean and actually looks kind of cool with it's black theme. There are so many TV's in this place- nearly too much actually. It feels like a sports betting establishment, especially since there's no music playing either. On a positive note, the server was very friendly. I was gonna go for the mac n cheese and she helpfully...
Read moreI've ordered from that place a lot of times.Their poutines are amazing. The name they chose was definitly appropriate.
But they also serve some pretty amazing burgers. They also have fried chicken that is pretty good, wings that I did not try yet, a pretty nice selection of desserts and milkshakes that I don't plan to to try because I'm not into sweets but for those who like sweets, they have you covered!
But what really got me is their subs.
They're pretty standard. They look like a very good old sub and the filling tastes just like any very good sub tthat you had elsewhere but their bread is something else. It's served in a box that says "Les meilleurs sous-marins à MTL". I woudn't know about that. I did not try every sub that Mtl has to offer but as I said, their bread is really taking their subs to my top 1 of the best subs that...
