To be honest, some of the worst food I’ve had world wide. The family decided to try the restaurant as we were looking for pupusas in Montreal and came across it. No one inside (first hint to skip) but we gave it a chance. Parents ordered horchata and it tasted like water with flour (not authentic taste, grainy) the pupusas had zero flavour and was mainly just flour with no contents inside. Read moreI have been here three other times and the food was delicious! Yesterday, Saturday February 21, 2015, was my th time after a very long time. The food was excellent the atmosphere was very nice also. It is a hole in the wall but the food is genuine and authentic El Salvadorian cuisine. I had with me my daughter and a friend of mine which was her first time and she absolutely loved it. The owners are wonderful down home people. If I would go there again??? A definite YES!!! Read moreThis is my favourite restaurant. It's called "The Friend", and I feel like it's my friend. I love to go here with my -- you guessed it -- friends, and have a nice meal. I like that it's BYOB. I like to have a drink with my meal, but I don't like paying $10 for one mass-produced beer. This place lets me have a few mass-produced beers with my meal, and they don't charge me any extra to do it.
