Restaurant Le Nouveau Paradis — Restaurant in Montreal

I was never disappointed by the food always good. Tonight we tried to order for delivery it was 20h51 and they didn't take our order because they were closing 🤷 I work in a store also and if someone walks in last minute I always give my best and serve my customers. Life lesson.

• Update* About two weeks after the same incident happened I tried ordering for take out but this time my girlfriend called at around 20h19 and still the receptionist told us it was too late for delivery. My girlfriend told the receptionist that it was the second time they refused to take an order, the lady on the phone started yelling at her. The restaurant is advertise that they close and deliver until 21hPM false claim. Anyways after all these issues with this place, they definitely lost some customers, I ordered somewhere else afterwards and had it delivered from another place as good and with better...

Great place, super friendly owner, and the food is just OUT OF THIS WORLD.

First came the soup, which was amazing.

Then the salad, probably the tastiest, most well-balanced coleslaw we've ever had. The cashews blended so well with it too, the chef really knows how to make flavors work together.

Then it was the imperial roll: perfectly crispy, tasty, with an awesome sauce.

And of course, the main dish (boeuf au basilic, and ginger chicken) literally blew my mind.

All the other tables around us were also raving about how good the food was (i've never seen this happen in a restaurant)

Super friendly and honest owner, and to top it all off THEY SERVE FILTERED WATER that doesn't taste like chlorine.

BYOW, Perfect place to go solo, duo, as a group, cannot recommend this place enough.

Waste of money. The portions are very small for the price and very rude staff. When to order for take out and she was extremely blunt as if we were bothering her. When we come back to get order she first forgets that the order was already placed and when we tell her she tried to charge us u til I pull out my receipt. Then proceeded to pick a bag from the table that had 3 other bags with no indication to say what the order is and surprise surprise we got the wrong item in our order on top of the extremely small portions for the price you pay. Wasn’t very busy and yet still can’t give full attention to the work...
